He took a big hit in the Jets game if I recall correctly. He hates getting hit and is soft and he hasn’t been the same since that game. Dude will not take hits and has become jittery…even more than normal. I don’t think he is injured any more than any other player this time of year. I think he is scared
I agree with this.

Can we all agree never to reference QBR in any QB discussions moving forward? Any formula that rates Kyler the 5th best QB this season is irrevocably broken.

I mean I basically agree with you. I think we'll probably win at least eight games next year with K1 at QB. Enough for him to keep his starting job (at least until the end of the year).

I'm saying if we go 1-5 to start the season (again unlikely) they'll bench Murray and it will be pandemonium on Hardy Drive.
I feel for you man. We all wanted him to be great. It just didn't work out. Not the same but for me it was watching Swann play when his knees were shot. I hated to see him like that because he could have one of the best to ever play the position. It's heartbreaking.

If true and he's hurting the team he shouldn't be out there playing. I for one don't buy the injury thing as this is who Kyler is, and has been for quite some time. Is he banged up ? Probably, but who isn't this time of year. There's a different between injured and hurt. Pretty much everyone playing is hurt but the injured are in the sidelines.

agreed but as others have said, when Kyler is less than 100% it impacts his game more.
I have no idea I just go back to the play against Seattle the first game where he got taken down on a run and Leonard Williams basically fell on him. He got up holding his midsection and when he was on the bench, for basically the rest of the game, they were working on it, flexing his arm etc.

That sort of thing could make it harder to run AND impact his throwing.

I do agree with others I don't think his arm is as strong as it used to be. IT sounds silly but if you remember back to the Covid year when Kyler got Covid the reports were when he came back, and even into camp the next year he had a "dead arm" like a baseball pitcher. I'm not sure he ever got that back as he hasn't been nearly as effective on deep balls since then

Since his college football playoff appearance

You mean him choking, right? I watched that game before the draft and couldn't figure out how he was better than Rosen except for his running ability, didn't seem worth the first draft pick...

As guys are having fun trashing K1, just don't forget who this year set the Arizona Cardinals franchise record for most consecutive pass completions.

"Bad QB" LOL!
No we're not having fun. We wanted the Kyler bandwagon drivers to be right. And you all got serve us the biggest crow buffet ever.

Does this mean you're back to driving the bus?

Sigh... I know.

Do you think a professional athlete can get substantially better at handling pressure situations?

Because I can almost guarantee you, about 11 months from now, we're going to be in the exact same situation we were this year coming out of the bye.

Tell us your honest opinion, is there a realistic hope Murray will succeed in a division-winning, or playoff-berth clinching game in 2025?

Another pathetic odegard spin for his boy Murray.

Chiefs would be better with Murray over Mahomes?

There is no reason to believe that will happen

Owners or some 2nd string DT don't register on the same scale as a #1 overall pick $50m+ a year QB.

If you'd been a cards fan since 1975 the Bidwills would register much worse than any player.

When the dad finally got out of the process I had high hopes and it HAS gotten better but it's still a terrible ownership situation.

Marv for example is driving me nuts this year, but compared to Clyde Duncan in 1984 nothing. Bidwill didn't want to spend money on his first round pick so he had them pass on the clear choice they needed, WR Louis Lipps who was OROY for the Steelers. We took Duncan from Tenn who most scouts had in the 4th or 5th round. We found out later they took Duncan because he told them he didn't have an agent and Bidwill thought it would cheaper contract. He DID have an agent, he was just told to tell teams he didn't. So long ago but I'll never forget it literally cost us a playoff berth that year. The team was loaded but needed a 3rd WR and we had to watch Lipps all year as Duncan held out, eventually signed and I think caught 1 pass in his Cardinal career

Kinda wild. I am really curious what happened to his arm. Normally you don't see a QB lose it under 30 like Kyler has.

Posted it earlier when Murray came back from Covid he was not the same. During camp the next year there were reports he had a "dead arm" like baseball pitchers get. I don't think he ever has been the same.

IMO he didn't stop to set his feet and make the throw is be cause then he would have to take a hit to make a play. He just won't do that.... Ever

I tbink it's easier than that. He realized he was probably over the LOS and hesitated, but then just threw it.

I really need Kyler to pass for another 150 yards to hit his preseason over. That said, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him sit that last home game against San Fran. What a mess that would be tho.

I feel kind of bad that we have such a quiescent media that no one is asking Gannon post-game if he still has faith in Kyler Murray.

not quite as direct but the very first question at the presser was about Kylers' performance. Gannon said he battled like everyone else did, he wanted to win, he made some plays but they made more. When asked about the INT he said he's trying to make a play, I had no problem with it.
