OT: Kyler Murray Debacle Thread

i don't need km to be patrick maholmes - josh allen - russell wilson - i need kyler murray to be kyler murray tomorrow cuz i aint seen him in over a month - and with me being me i have to look at the timeline

only thing that stands out - only things "out of his control" were the consecutive brutal blind sides coming from untouched defenders in back to back games - first one hurt - and one is going to happen from time to time but it's clear they worked all week yet kyler got crushed again - right around when lawrence got knocked the **** out too

fool me once shame on me - fool me twice shame on petzing and froholdt too - what's kyler supposed to do? trust this line? when paris has fallen and it's been nothing but the frozo the clown show since the bye?

still tho - it doesn't excuse kyler's inability to read the blitz or the decision making during it - most elusive quarterback my ass - i see fear - there's buying time and then there's running for your life - buying time requires a clear mind

it's not our defense or our running game - they've been playoff caliber - probably just wildcard or bad division caliber but still dangerous - but not kyler

anything you do in life - you're either in control or you're just doing it - murray hasn't been in control for some time now

The whole Kyler hurting is such BS and the excuses for it by some on here with the speculation… He’s not even listed on the injury report so whatever it is, he needs to get the hell over it… I know it’s Ludicrous to compare him to Mahomes… but when you watch him legit go out and get a high ankle sprain last week and yet he’s still out there pushing his team to the lead in the fourth quarter this week against a really good team it’s kinda hard to have sympathy for Kyler with a few bumps and bruises. Especially when They aren’t even severe enough to be listed on the injury report week to week.

That’s not an excuse, it’s literally a reason. No one is saying it’s a reason he’s underperforming. That would be an excuse. They’re saying he doesn’t seem to be running at full speed. A nagging physical ailment that doesn’t rise to the level of full blown reportable injury could limit his speed. Hence the possibility that it’s a reason.

Unfortunately, Murray has a history of being impacted more by injuries than most players. E.g. missing 3+ weeks for a low ankle sprain. Maybe he has a low pain threshold.

Not an excuse. A question. Because there's a marked difference in pre bye vs post bye running confidence. Knee injuries stay in your head, and IMO, he was triggered mentally.
