With all of the chest thumping people do about the US healthcare system and "having to wait" in the UK, it's insane that it's been since March and I'm just now out of surgery in September. At least we have AC over here, lol. Your heatwave last year was killing me. But... my curtains don't work, so I haven't slept yet.

Congratulations! My brother got his done a couple of months ago, and his recovery had more pain than is normal, but other than that he still did fine and is very much back on his feet.

Yep on the pain as they have your foot by your ear during the procedure. Those muscles get strained for sure.
