This season is way better than last season. I had such mixed views of the first season. Some episodes were good and some were just beyond silly. This season has been way more consistent with the writing. Just better all the way around than Season 1.

We had a blast watching this season. Like others have said, very reminiscent of the original Trek with good characters and a nice balance between serious and lighthearted topics.
