We can do nothing with the money, we will still be way over the cap. Well yes we can get a 12 million dollar exception, but we can get at least 2 players of that caliber in a trade of Ayton.

None. The Suns don't get deeper that way and a team likely with great picks is going to have lottery protections for those picks. If you are not trading Ayton to get deeper you might as well hold onto him. Plus, if it wasn't possible why are there multiple reports teams are calling the Suns?!?

I'm really not anxious to move Ayton if the Suns can fill out the rest of their roster better than the end of last season. The Suns must have an idea who will be available. If the right trade comes along, then fine.

This reported thing with Monty, Crowder and Ayton makes me think whatever happened may be fixable.

One thing I've seen others mention, I mean other teams fans, is how Ayton didn't improve with Chris Paul here. That's a solid point since CP3 made Deandre Jordan an All-Star and helped Clint Capela get a big payday. Really sucks that we waited so long to cut bait.

Ayton's issue is that he doesn't particularly thrive as a roll man and that is how big men tend to thrive with CP. Hopefully the Suns don't try to emphasize him as a roll man this year because it is a waste of time.

This is exactly what I want to hear. It's not that I am against trading him, but I want some value. This should up the offers a bit.

An offense that uses Ayton as a pass in option in the paint, and as a cutter option for the "roller" in the pick and roll might better suit his game.

Actually it would be more like Philly uses Embiid. Setting picks at the top of the key leaves him out of position for offensive rebounds and constantly as the roller in the pick and roll.

If Ayton is that much of a cry baby bitch to half ass it because of an issue with the coach, and hang your teammates out to dry, then I definitely want his ass traded! He is what he is never showed heart or aggression it’s not suddenly gonna change just from a new coach, especially since he is likely getting less touches than before. He has little desire to be a defensive big lol and by all accounts that’s what Vogel would want. Can you imagine him trying to be a rim protector lol he would foul out in the first half of every game shoot maybe the first quarter! It’s time to move on imo fresh start for guys who WANT to be here.

Our window is a little larger now that we added Beal but we can't make a huge trade at the deadline that causes us to need to work in 2 new starters. Teams need time to gel and build chemistry. We're not going to get a major haul for Ayton but if we can add a starter and sixth man, take it and move forward.

I really think Orlando is the team to deal with because Carter Jr could replace Ayton in the starting 5 and whoever else we get could help the second unit. I'd like Cole Anthony but Fultz wouldn't be bad.

Isaac is NEVER healthy. He played 11 games this last season and missed the previous 2 seasons entirely. No thanks.

Does Vogel want DA and will he use him? Do Book and KD want DA or someone else? It's mostly Book. If Book doesn't want to pass to DA or include him in the offense, there is no point in keeping him.

If Ayton wants the ball, he should be constantly moving and seek avenues where he can receive it.

Too often he stands still where even a guard can guard him.

I have a strong feeling he was instructed to stay near the paint with our offense to be in position for offensive rebounds and dump off passes. And since he shoots 70% in the restricted area that is the best usage for him IMO.

It would be one thing if he was capable of dribbling without getting the ball stolen even 60% of the time - but thus far he has shown that is not the case.

If we are keeping him he needs to understand clearly he is almost never going to get offensive opportunities unless he is wide open or on offensive rebounds. If he isn't ok with that, then we should trade him.

With 3 guys that are top 10 scorers in the NBA in the last 5 years, he isn't going to have plays run for him if they are available ever.
