Those shirts in the NFL shop link have been available for years. I bought one at least a couple years ago.

Looks more like the Ball St. Cardinal logo to me.

It looks like some of the other hats have that pattern and are that color gray as well. The only thing that I can tell is that the Cardinal is more in line with the red/black helmet emblem that with the emblem on the white helmet - has more of a 3-D look.
