And the OC clearly knows it and is trying so hard to protect the Bears from Fields but he still blows. he literally threw a pick in the redzone by hitting a player in the helmet who wasn't even upright or jumping he threw the ball so low it was insane.

he finally hit one on a bomb to Pettis although even that one I thought Pettis bobbled the ball and his right foot was out but it was a good throw.

On one of the drives literally 3 plays in a row Fields screwed up. he completed a pass but the announcer pointed out the guy had been wide open he hesitated and made an easy throw hard. Next play screen pass called back lineman downfield because Fields held the ball too long.

Herbstreit keeps saying it he's afraid to throw the ball unless the WR is WIDE open so most of his completions are completely schemed open, bootlegs etc.

What a terrible game so far

I love how the announcers take the one 8 yd gain one of the team makes per drive and builds it up as a great design, excellent play call. That is the only thing they can think of positive to say about both teams.

How would you guys that hate Kyler like to have either of these two slugs instead? These guys are tall and they too get their passes batted down every series. Maybe it is that defenses are playing the pass differently in this decade.

I think the OC and the Bears are making him worse.

Fields is proof that organizations matter. Switch him and Jalen Hurts the last two years and I think the Eagles probably look potentially scarier.

Justin is flawed, but the Bears are looking Wilks level offensively.

Pettie nearly got decapitated because the ball was under thrown. Fields throws the ugliest ball in the NFL.

They can only do so much with a guy who can't read defenses and is afraid to throw if the guy isn't wide open. They run twice as much as they throw, when they throw it's usually a screen or a bootleg. I don't know if the OC is good or not but he's clearly trying to make 1 or 2 read plays for Fields because that's all he can handle right now. 23 sacks in 6 games and many of them are completely his fault. Herbie is a TOSU guy and even he was saying he's just holding the ball too long.

Both Fitzmagic and Sherman criticized the OC but that was after Fitzmagic pointed out how 3 of the 4 plays in the redzone at the end should have been a TD but the throws were low and batted down, not enough on it WR didn't hang on, and then very late and the guy is stopped short.

Fields is awful man I do not agree with your Hurts/Eagles take at all. He's so so bad.

I forgot there was a game. Streaming is going to kill NFL Thursday night games.
I knew there was but said "Ef it. Why watch crap?"

Sounds like I made the right call. I saw the final score and laughed because I knew it had to be terrible.

Thursday night football just flat out sucks over all. Has from the get go, and it won't somehow magically turn into a great product.

Viewership is up from a year ago despite the awful matchups, especially with a younger and most coveted advertising demographic.

Amazon is just ahead of the curve...again...
I think it is hard for NFL fans over 40 to grasp that younger people do not give a rip about cable, ESPN or the NFL Network. But everyone in those younger ages streams

For me it's not the streaming it's the quality of the games. Thur is just too short of time to get over the last game for teams so you end up getting bad football more often than not

the youth these days 100% prefer their phone over a tv. its weird to me. I hate watching a tiny phone.

The play on Thursday Night Football can't possibly get any wors.... oh look, the Cardinals are on Thursday next week!
These Thursday games have been horrific. The last two weeks have been two of the worst games I’ve ever seen. I watched a quarter and a half of that mess and went outside to clean my kids’ bikes.
