Suns @ Bulls Friday game thread 2-26-2021

The Suns begin a three game road trip with the Bulls on Friday. Afterwards they play the Timberwolves on Sunday and the Lakers on Tuesday.

Bulls are 15-16 and have won their last three games against the Kings, Rockets and Timberwolves. They have also won five of their last six games and seven of their last ten games.

Suns are 20-11 after losing to the Hornets 124-121 on Wednesday. They have won eight out of their last ten games.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 6 p.m. Arizona time.

that’s an ugly loss, especially with all of its roster playing and no load management sit outs.

It makes sense to recall Smith. I doubt he is going back. The G-League season is winding down and the Suns could be without Saric and they waived Jones.

Well the suns lost to the Pelicans by 30, and Washington by 30. That is about the same thing.

Pelicans beat us by 22.
Washington by 21.

We were not at full strength for either the Washington or Pelicans game. We crushed the Pellies twice at full strength.

Memphis wasn’t at full strength against the Clippers (who were).

Bulls are 7-3 in last 10. Pretty easy schedule, but they did beat Indy away. Kept it close @ Philly and vs. Wash. Blown out by Clippers, but 9 solid results otherwise since Lauri went down.

yeah... I don’t think this is a gimme game. Since their rough start, the Bulls have been playing solid basketball. Hopefully we rebound from Wednesday nights frustrating loss.

Yeah, and we lost. So far in the last 10 games when Frank starts and actually gets minutes, we win. When he doesn't get minutes, either by not playing at all or starting and only playing for a few useless minutes, we lose.

Frank isn't that good, but can nobody see a correlation?

It's too bad the Suns don't have a big man on a two-way to suit up for tonight's game as insurance.

Also signing a player to a 10 day contract is an option.

I can understand them waiving Damian Jones because they didn't want to guarantee his contract while they are apparently waiting for a waived player to add.
