If you have a stud QB you can hire defense. Good quarterbacks make it happen regardless of their coordinator.

Man Staley hit the jackpot there.

I think the Chargers is the best job available. James missed the season. Chris Harris missed 8 games. Melvin Ingram missed 9 games. Dru Tranquil missed 15 games. Thats 4 guys he will have back to improve that defense massively without FA and the draft.

On the other side Mike Pouncey and Trai Turner missed a chunk of games. Ekeler missed most the season.

Add in a great young QB in year 2, good WR's and RB's and that team could challenge without any additions.

And the furthest he has to move is from one locker room to another.
