Any spare players in limbo we could pick up? ie Someone not afraid to play at the rim on offence.

The last I heard Dedmon and İlyasova were available but these are not starters.

J.J. Barea may be available. He could help point guard depth.

I'd say no. He came into the league as a wing, SG/SF, and has continued growing so he has the height of a big but not the game of one. He might work as a stretch 4 but wouldn't help at C at all.

Perhaps not, but athletically he is intriguing. Suns could use a player with his size and athleticism until Jalen Smith develops.

He averages 7 boards per 36, which is awful for a Center and bad for a PF. He's a SF who doesn't do anything well, really.

Keep an eye on Cleveland they have a surplus of bigs. Jarrett Allen, Drummond, Love, Javale McGee, Thon Maker, and Larry Nance Jr. Plus some younger g league guys. They can't keep all of them.

They already released Maker.

Anyone have interest in Thon Maker?

Admittedly I haven't watched him much. I can't remember him impressing in a game.

Dewayne Dedmon has the most appeal of players available right now.

It would be nice to get a player on a two-way contract.

Maker is much more intriguing than Bruno. He may not pan out but he should be cheap. I like him more than Damien Jones. That said I like 80% of the league more than Jones.

Blazers are losing Josef Nurkic with a fractured wrist. They didn't say how long he'll be out but I'd guess 2 months, or around there. I fractured my wrist in high school and missed 2 months of basketball. I was lucky it was clean because the doctor said if I needed surgery I might have missed longer.

Portland doesn't have Whiteside to.cover for Nurkic like last season. He's a big part of their team and they struggled without him last season. I'm not saying it'll knock them out of the playoffs but it knocks them out of a top 4 finish, IMO.

So far Damian Jones has been a disappointment.

E'Twaun Moore, Damian Jones and Abdel Nader appear to be the players that are at the furthest end of the bench.

Suns could use one more big man but it doesn't look like trades are the most viable option at this point. Trading OKC that first round pick hurt.

This is why I keep looking at waived players.

Losing Nurkic especially hurts with Zach Collins out as well. I bet they add a center. They still have Kanter.

Nurkic has/will miss a lot of games the past two seasons.

Amber Nichols has been promoted to GM of Wizards G-League affiliate.

She is the second female GM in G-League.

I posted a similar tweet elsewhere but the content needs a home here as well.

Five Wizards have reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

Do we know if there are any positives for the suns?

I'm sorry if I sound insensitive towards the bullets/wizards players.
