Just thinking ahead to the draft
If paddy fisher is available
He is under the radar and will be a great pro
Reminds me a little of chris spielman
He is Good tackler
Always seens to be in the right spot
He is at northwestern, so you know he is smart.
If you try to watch the citrus bowl tomorrow at 1 EST
I have a ton of work, but i will keep my eye on the game

I just read an article on "Raising Arizona" about him. The writer hypes him up & says we could possibly get him in the 2nd round?

Really
Id take him in the first
If he is available when we pick
We really need the best CB we can get with our first round pick. PP21 is about done. He's still the best we have but watch how he is always a step behind the younger WR's now. He's lost a step. He'll still make plays but he definitely ain't what he once was.

PP21 will be a free agent after our season is over. IMO there are other teams out there that will offer him more money than the Cards. Doubt if he will be back.

Some of the major issues draft analysts have with Fisher surround his pass coverage skills. As mentioned above, Fisher is certainly an impressive linebacker in the run game, even if he took a step back in 2019. However, he has not really provided anything in the passing game. He is not asked to blitz a lot, which led to him having just two sacks in three seasons.

You have to be decent in pass coverage these days. I'm not sure if he's improved this year or not. The article is from March.

You want to draft an ILB here are some names to actually consider.

Micah Parsons
Zaven Collins
Nick Bolton (though this is dependent his combine numbers)
Cameron McGrone
Chazz Surratt
Baron Browning
Jabril Cox
Anthony Hines

No white ILBs unless they’re a Luke Kuechly clone.

I'd add Merlin Robertson to the list.

You’re being kind saying he’s lost one step. Probably two:cool:

You mean following whats ever anyone else says.. you probably never seen him play
If you dont have an opinion of your own, dont comment

Ha. This guy. I guess everyone else hasn’t seen him either huh

I have seen him play, painfully slow horrible instincts, can’t get off blocks when he blitzes and isn’t fast enough to cover

What are you like 60? When was the last time that even happened lol

I have no idea how it happened but I have clearly taken up a home in your head.

I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream; that's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving.
