I do wonder what this offense could look like in key situations having a more physical back with size when you need that extra yard in crunch time. We honestly do not have that sort of back right now (though Edmonds and Drake do not shy away from contact and run hard while lacking brute size). Nice to find one in the draft in the later rounds with a penchant to be useful then on special teams... though I do think that maybe Chris Streveler fills that need and being designated as a QB also gives a defense something to think about

It would be sick to get a Derrick Henry type running back! Plus our QB is not quarterback sneaking the ball. We need a third and short back who can move the pile!!

I think Kyler in his own way would be great being so small and sneaking into any nick and cranny for that but can understand the protective nature of our staff not to have his size subjective to a pile on

We at the very least should bring in Streveler into the game on this 4th and inches while Murray is still in the game. Put Murray in motion behind the line and confuse the defense.

I wish they hadn't gone away from bringing Streveler into the game.

Exactly, if not then when? Why the hell is he even on the roster, unless you think he's a better actual QB than Hundley which I find hard to believe

Activate ENO Benjamin. He's made to be a goaline specialist, IMO.

Streveler goes at 6'1 and 216 lbs. Drake is 6'1 and 211. Where's the beef?

Benjamin is 5'9 210...that is perfect for goalline situations.

You can find a big short yardage back anywhere really. Heck give it to Leki Fotu. Ever see him run playing rugby

Ditto on Leki Fotu. Guy is a runaway train while playing rugby. Needs to get healthy and a pre-season and we'll have our own Refrigerator Perry.

Never saw him play. I would teach Fotu to grab the ball under center and just let him bull forward. Even if the defense knows it is coming, I doubt they could stop it.

Honestly, if KK is not considering a short yardage package with Fotu running the ball...then he is not the innovative offensive genius we have been led to believe he is.

We should be considering everything...and a jumbo package with Josh Jones, Maxx Williams at FB, and Fotu running the ball straight ahead seems basically unstoppable in a short yardage situation.

He snuck in before, I don’t know why he doesn’t do it now.

Could be, but could also he a fumble waiting to happen. There is usually a reason why players play where they play, and don't play where they can't or never have. But hey SK likes to draft players and move them so what do I know?

Fotu was a rugby player, saw videos of him running the ball, guess it's not the issue

I get it but rugby isn't the same as the NFL. Not saying he can't do it, just probably never has. I'm not adverse to trying something new cuz what we're doing now isn't working.
