The fact that you do not drop more bullets into him at that point is a joke but similar to situations where Carl could have taken out Negan, it's bad for storylines to just suddenly kill them in a simple fashion.

However, Judith walking up and dropping another shell in his dome would have been pretty epic.
Good episode but yea on judith shooting beta or aim for the head... lol

Was like that episode when rick was shooting at negan and misses everything lol

8 out of 10 for me

Liked the daryl alpha and cool seeing lydia for a bit

haha I forgot about that, you could see negan under the vehicle but suddenly rick went from sharpshooter to bozo.

I am going to rewatch the episode. I barely remember the lydia stuff and woke up at 4am on the couch so even though I finished it, I dont think I was lucid.

Their adversaries are only 30 steps ahead of them.

It's always so funny how they're total idiots, get into impossible situations, then miraculously make the perfect play at the end to come out victorious.

I watch with my son, who flippin loves this show. Makes it fun for me. And, this season has actually been pretty good.

I generally agree, but boy oh boy are there some eyerolling spots.

Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) are what keep me rolling through the bad spots. Just love those two!

So, not reading yet but I just watched the first 5 minutes and I have to say something somewhere that I'm not spoiling it for someone else.

I've waited ten seasons for someone to use a standard choke point defense strategy and when they finally did it, it didn't work because it's not the best time to do it. A stack of dead zombies is a wall yet they'll never let them pile up until now.

Ummmm... Holy crap. I knew he was up to something but I cannot believe they just did it mid season. What a great ride front to back. Opened and ended on a major high notes

really? saw that coming from a mile away.

agreed on that point.

that said, felt real weird watching the end of the world while ours feels like it's about to go into completely uncharted territory.

Yeah..... I thought Carol would actually get the job done. I knew Negan had something going, but thought it would involve Beta.

Is this how it happened in the comics?

not sure.

I'll also say this, Angela Kang and her staff have done a pretty incredible turnaround on this show. Has it been perfect since she took over? No. But it's much much better writing and they did the unthinkable... they took Negan, who's character was not only written something awful, but performed even worse and made him one of, if not THE most interesting character in the bunch.

Just watched the episode coming out Sunday, thought it was well done. I'll leave it at that for now.

The Michone show (3/22) was not very good. Choppy and full of plot holes, it pretty much ruined her last show. She deserved better.

I thought they overdid it with the trippy stuff that didn't really mean that much, but it ended on a note that keeps me interested.
