Interesting analysis...would love to get opinion/reaction from @DVontel
That takes Bosa down slightly in my book. Never thought he was going to be the next Von Miller but still confident he will be the next Joey Bosa or Ryan Kerrigan. Not sure that is #1 overall pick worthy though. Makes me lean a bit more towards Q at #1.
Another interesting point made in the video related to Josh Allen. He didn't participate in the vertical at the combine but his long jump is clearly behind Von Millers. I would presume that also means his vertical isn't nearly as good either. If he doesn't have that elite level explosiveness coming off the edge (like Von), then he won't be the same type of player he is in college. His biggest strength is beating the OT around the corner but based on history, that should be neutralized in the pros (without Von type explosiveness).

My concern about Q Williams is the lack of starts (one season).
Murray? DHe only started one season at OU, but he came in an outplayed last year's #1 overall pick in the same system with a lot of the same players.
Q Williams might have maxed out in college and may struggle against tougher NFL blockers.
Allen is bigger and stronger than Miller by a good margin though. His game is different.
Nick Bosa is going to be really good.
Guys that win with technique and know how to attack the player across from them win in the NFL.
My concern about the Bosa family is injuries. My concern about Q Williams is the lack of starts (one season).
This is another reason Murray has grown on me; I'm more certain he's going to be a very good player.
Bosa seems like he might be on the training table a significant amount of time.
Q Williams might have maxed out in college and may struggle against tougher NFL blockers.
Murray? Dude has alpha dog since his sophomore year in high school. He was the greatest high school QB in Texas history, which obviously has had some great QB play in the past. He only started one season at OU, but he came in an outplayed last year's #1 overall pick in the same system with a lot of the same players.
Why mention Murray? Because the comparison is ultimately linked. Bosa is going to be a really good player, but he does have some concerns.
Can't play it both ways. One year of starting is one year.
Q dominated for a DT
Same could be said about Murray going against real NFL defenses.
And Murray doesn`t have some concerns? And being the best QB in Texas HS history doesn`t count for jacksj*t in the NFL.You say Bosa might be on the training table a considerable amount of time and yet is not Murrays lack of size and bulk not a concern in the NFL?The Murray fanclub states "Murray avoids contact and know when to slide"....mantra repeatedly...…...In the bigger faster better stronger quicker NFL thinking mMurray isn`t going to get nailed is foolhardy.Plus all the successful 5`10 QBs in the NFl is a small list.Thinking Murray is going to be on that list is a gamble that is risky IMHO.Plus Murray isn`t going to be playing against shoddy Big12 defenses every week. Its a different level and the transition will be rough .It is not easy for any QB to be effective in the NFL and being shorter and smaller will make it harder and adds more risk for injury also.
Those are my concerns and that's why I am in the draft Bosa camp.Safer pick IMHO.Bosa has concerns also.Any player coming to the NFL does. Its taking a risk that is not needed by drafting Murray IMHO.
I get it. He's small. You think that's going to lead to injury.
Barry Sanders is around the same size as is Emmitt Smith. Small doesn't equal injury prone.
I would agree if Murray was JJ Nelson small, but he's not. It has been observed that Murray is well built and very muscular for his weight.
You can continue to say things about him not being able to avoid contact in the NFL, but Murray is faster than 99.9% of the NFL and he looks to avoid contact. So I think he will and his chances are really good. Guys like Vick and Newton didn't avoid contact and they suffer from it.
Doesn't Murray have the limited starts concern, like Williams?Nick Bosa is going to be really good.

I have concerns about Willams.Strength, stamina, effort, work ethic, mean streak? As I stated before.. he seems like a nice kid but will he put in the work to succeed in the NFL?Legit concerns about any potential number 1 pick.

All of these guys were Alphas in high school, at least...
Also, you mentioned technique with Bosa and that making a winner...sounds a ton like Chandler Jones...his technique will keep him productive for years to come .

I don't think Murray was the best player at A&M...his stats clearly don't reflect success, there. Maybe he wasn't ready for SEC defenses...who knows?

I'm not the poster who claimed Murray has always been the best player on his team. I simply pointed out his A&M stats, which counter that argument.A true freshman wasn't the best player of a Power 5 program? No way!
Don't know how you can judge Murray based on his time at A&M. He only started 3 games, 2 against SEC teams

Yes I did.Yes I do still.I watched his interviews and he seems like a laidback easy going kid.Thats why I questioned his meaness and his getting in sharpe.Looks a bit out of shape and his stamina has been questioned. So if you don`t like it that's life.I expressed a concern about the player. My concerns about him.You know what I’m sorry. Stuff like this is a joke. You just don’t like him stuff like that. His work ethic? Based on what? Mean Streak? Based on what.
Those are not “legit concerns” that’s stuff your making up cause NOBODY none of the talking heads are saying stuff like this.
Are you the same dude that questioned what’s his attitude gonna he when he gets paid?

Yeah looked horribly out of shape at the combine lol. That’s not a position in a conference you can dominate like that without being a competitor. Saban doesn’t play guys who don’t work hard. There too deep and to talented.
His stamina? Because he comes out of the game? You mean just like every other D lineman playing football Donald and Suh included? Huh
I’m not saying he’s perfect but your going so far out of your way and honestly just flat out making stuff up. It’s almost laughable.
I don`t really give damn if you like it or not.As for dominating in the SEC he is a one year starter. You don`t like my opinions then don`t read my posts.I have a concern about most kids coming out of college going to the NFL getting big dollars and wondering if they will still have the drive and desire to get better.
