This is an intriguing position to me. This team hasn't had a top pass catching TE since the days of Jay Novacek and Robert Awalt in the late 80's. Since then we've had a cast of castoffs, over the hill vets, and bust draft picks. Gresham is the closest thing we've had to a decent pass catching keep the drive alive TE in 30 years since the 2 I mentioned. Is there going to be one on the free agent pool or someone we can draft that can fill that role?

If Gase gets the job as HC don't expect him to make use of the TE position from a pass catching position. He had Gesicki this past season in Miami and didn't seem to know how to use him. Gesicki was one of the best pass catching TEs coming out of college last year.

That’s on Geisicki most likely.

Plus, I remember last year my scout buddy telling me Geosicki was basically a big puss and very soft.

I like Irv Smith this year.

yes!

and, Kaden Smith, Stanford. simply because if he couldn't block, Shaw wouldn't play him--- and, those Stanford TEs tend to do well in the NFL

Lots of TEs in the draft this year, and some might be cut once teams try and pare down their cap.

Not that I watch a lot of Ravens games but they seem to have a bunch of interchangeable decent TE's that can block and catch, with Maxx Williams and Nick Boyle heading to free agency. With Andrews and Hurst being rookies I cant see them trying to keep Williams or Boyle. I think either or both would be upgrades on what we have now and should be fairly cheap.

You lost me at Gresham doing anything besides get penalties. I beat the reanimated corpse of Todd heap got more yards that him in a season with us.

Man...I forgot heap was ever in Arizona until just now.
