Wetzel is a really good backup swing tackle. Not a world beater, but he steps in at either tackle and plays moderately well, just below starter level. I would sign him to an extension, swing backups that give you average play like Wetzel are hard to find.

Way to early to know Leftwich's future success or failure but having watched his interviews both prior to the firing of McCoy, his post promotion interviews and the interviews after the 49ers game its really hard not to like this guy.

He seems to carry an air of just the right mix of optimism, humility, even temperment and slips in a little self deprecating humor during interviews. Hopefully that charisma can carry him through the rest of the season while he gains the OC experience necessary to make him a successful coach.

Ok, so in the offseason they need to move Pugh to LG, sign Humphries to an extension, and sign a new RG and RT.
