Fitz is guaranteed to be in the HOF in his 1st year of eligibility.

Floyd’s NFL career is over, at least David Boston had a lucrative non rookie contract.

NE released CB Cyrus Jones (2016 2nd rd pick). It looks like he didn't play much in 2016 & not at all in 2017 (torn ACL). He did play in their final 2 pre-season games, but NE has a pretty strong CB room & drafted 2 rookies this year that they like.

Raiders waived WR Marcell Ateman.

Ateman had a big preseason but was buried behind Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, Martavis Bryant, and Seth Roberts. The Raiders will try to sneak Ateman on their practice squad.
