I think this lowering the head thing will bother me all season if it is to defend oneself... not to harm.
funny as hell...1st PS game is always the worst game of the year... but always draws the most excitement... I was actually getting butterflies reading the first two pages of this thread, lmao

The problem I see is how will the refs call it? Judgement call, so they can affect the game and call key penalties on certain teams and allow the other to get away with it.

Looks funny seeing Wilks out there after years of Brucie. I was getting really concerned - sometimes Bruce was bright red, and he seemed to be putting on weight. NOT a healthy looking dude, especially during the stress of a game. Wilks otoh looks like a calm, collected, healthy-as-a-horse kinda dude. I think it was a good time for the change. Really anxious to see how the new McCoy offense performs. Happy to see DJ get a fullback to open lanes from him (which we already saw on the first play) and also see him get deployed as a receiver more often.

This is it. I always thought their was a penalty for illegal use of the helmet. I'd prefer if they didn't change the rule but the referees focus on making the right calls.
