May-field... May-field... MAY-FIELD!... MAY-FIELD!...

Chant along with me please.

I'll be honest...I'm good with Baker and pretty much all the others. I can see things in each of them that would fit in nicely in AZ...and I can see warts in all them, too. I guess if I had to rank, by preference, I'd say Mayfield, Rosen, or Allen, if available to the Cards in the 1st...If not, I'm all in for Lauletta in the 2nd.

My fingers are crossed that we find away to get Mayfield. To me he's the best quarterback in this draft. I see a cross between Drew Brees and Fran Tarkenton when I watch Mayfield.

I admit that I don't think a whole lot of him but that's with the caveat that I really don't know which, if any, QB's will pan out. They can all look good and they can all look like they won't make it.

So many rumors are floating around that it's hard to predict anything anyway. I've seen some that say that Cleveland actually wants Mayfield and if so, would they draft him #1 overall or take Barkley and they Mayfield at #4?

Many seem to think that Baker is the top overall QB though and if his accuracy and decision-making is as good as advertised, I'd certainly be interested. He's actually taller than Brees or Wilson so I'm not sure how much of an issue height really is.

I guess I should be used to it by now but it still kind of surprises me at how a QBOTF starved fanbase will poo-poo just about any name brought up.

I would think that if Mayfield fell to #15 that Cardinals fans should be pretty happy.
Because I don't want Leinart 2.0. I don't want all of the hype and nonsense that comes with potentially picking the wrong guy and having him flame out while the media rips him for taking a hot tub pick.

5 years from now I don't want to be edging 40 talking about our huge draft bust.

Lauletta is 4th round at best. ....

I would be thrilled if he fell to us but no way he will.

If you want him, you'll have to be aggressive and go get him. There is no way you wait and see if he falls to you, because he will be long gone by 15. IMO

So now the question is how much to you give up to get to where he is drafted? I would assume the Cards are not brining him in because they believe he'll be there at 15. I am guessing that they are scouting him for a possible trade up.

He's the biggest winner in this QB draft.

You'll gave to go up to #5 to get him. He's gone after that.

Here's a question. Whichever quarterback you prefer, it is obvious that a move up will be required. What would you be willing to part with to move up?
You may have to include a star player or two. Would you trade Patrick Peterson as part of a package to move up? Or Larry? Or would you just give up five premier draft picks to get one player?
