Just scrolled on the NFL Network during the "parade".

Hiring the twice fired and college coach off of Saban's staff.

Reports are that Sarkisian was done at Bama so he managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat with the Falcons gig.

Sarkisian's offenses inability to stay on the field to chew up clock was a major but overlooked reason why Bama lost to Clemson.

Sark's offensive schemes fit Atlanta's personnel pretty well IMO. That being said I don't think it is going to work. BUT I believe ATL's defense is going to be much, much better next year.

Didn't Sark just get hired at ALA? Kiffin was the OC last year. It would be hilarious if Saban tried to steal back the dude ASU just hired from there.

People are rumoring that Chip Kelly could land in Tuscaloosa as OC. That seems insane.

BTW, officially Sarkisian was Alabama's O C for one week and 60 minutes of football.

Sark actually fits the Pros better than college. After he saw what Saban did to Kiffin he was likely anxious to get out. I can't blame him for Clemson loss. That wasn't his offense. The real question is can the returning Falcons get their head on straight and do they still believe in their head coach? With Ryan & Jones they're still hard to stop.

Rumor has it that Sark wanted out the whole time he was at Alabama and got his agent sniffing out a pro job. Saban does this to his hired hands. He takes recently unemployed assistants out of the coaching loop who might recruit or coach against him. The NCAA really needs to address this "consultant" system Saban uses. They are not coaches, since that would violate the coaching cap. It's a loophole.

BTW, Bryan Cox and the Falcon DC are out.

Ouch. They made Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady look like average quarterbacks for 11 quarters.

Agree. Talk about overreacting. Their defense was good enough to allow them to walk into the superbowl and dominate the greatest QB of all time for 3 quarters. Sometimes bad crap just happens man. To me it didn't even look like the Falcons went soft or played prevent, it was just Brady being Brady.

Falcons go 7-9 next season at best.
