Cowboys.... Patriots.... Steelers..... Packers. Public teams are hard to combat.

If we can continue to half fill the club section but still call it a sellout....... Who cares?

This was a real problem at SDS where the Packers fans lard asses (only rivaled by the obesity of Vikings fans) made it impossible for all ticket holders to fit into a particular row. At UofP, we not only can enjoy our seat space, Cards fans will also outnumber Packers and Vikings fans, which was not the case at SDS.

In fact, even more than the Packers, I think the games where I have seen the Cards fans most outnumbered were Vikings games. The game in 2003 where McCown screwed, and screwed the Vikings out of the playoffs, was easily the most lopsided for visitors at SDS. At UofP, it was the Vikings game in 2008 where I saw the most enemy fans.

It's an attractive game, not just because of the weather, not just because of the transplants, but also because the Cards are good.

I have posted my tickets for sale...

http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/f21/packers-tickets-for-sale-227394.html

I have NEVER tried to sell my tickets since I became a season ticket holder in 1994. From what I know, people who sell tickets here basically never get an offer from Cardinals fans. So, even if they want to sell to Cards fans, they have to sell to the other team because opposing fans are way more motivated to buy them. It's easy for Cards fans to just go to another game or watch it on TV. Where as opposing fans outside the division can be years in between seeing their team in person.

I DO NOT WANT TO SELL MY TICKETS TO PACKERS FANS. Yet, my seats are flat out GREAT. After weeks of posting them here, I have yet to get one offer or even a PM. If that doesn't change, I will post them on StubHub at market rate and will sell to the first person to make an offer. I cannot eat such a valuble ticket just so it keeps two more Packers fans out of the stadium.

Please, if you are a Cards fan and want to see the Packers game from fantastic seats, PM me.

Go here, put in Section 110 and Row 4 into the boxes and see how fantastic my seats are. Then, compare my view to splitsecond's view in Section 102 where they are going for $400 bucks each.

http://www.seats3d.com/nfl/arizona_cardinals/#/level_5/

Face value is 157.50 per seat for that game. If splitsecond's section is worth $400 on the resale market, then you can see mine is definitely more than that. I would be more reasonable for Cards fans, but I would ask $600 EACH for Packers fans.

What if I claimed interest (a staunch cards fan), but also disclosed I will be bringing an old military buddy, whom is a die hard cheesehead? He may talk some ish (mainly directed at me), but he isn't a DB . I promise: dude has slung plenty of hot lead in his life, and isn't remotely interested starting ish with anyone, much less some stupid drunk rival fan.

For a reasonable price, I'd be interested.

Sure, that would be fine. PM me an offer and we will see. I split the tickets with my buddy (who is also going to be away for Christmas) so I'm not the sole decision maker. However, i 100% know he would also sell to Cards fans for less than we would to Packers fans.

My ears are still ringing from the last time they were here.
Good for them, they have great fans. No quarrels with that group, I usually wish them well unless they are playing us.

OK, I must admit I sold my seats in 2000 to Packers fans (I assume for $500 each. I paid $30 each as season tickets. Crucify me.

I'm tellin ya, your mind is gonna be blown on Thursday. There will probably be more Vikings fans at that game than Packers fans at the next one.. Trust us long time and former season ticket holders, the Vikings draw as big as anyone here.

My mother-in-law and brother-in-law will both be there Thursday and will be going to the coyotes/wild game the night after and almost went to the Suns/t-wolves game on that Sunday as well but instead are doing some sight seeing because the weather down there is a lot better than what it is here in MN lol.

When we went to the Cards game in Tennessee a few years back, I was talking to a bartender about which out of town teams bring the best/most fan support and their answer surprised me because it was the Vikings.

We'll be there. We'll never sell our tickets and lose out on the game day experience and being able to support the team in person. We'll just have to be even louder with all of the additional GB fans in our building.

If it wasn't for season ticket holders selling their seats I'd be stuck with crappy seats when I go on the road to watch the Cardinals. Hard to shame Cardinal fans when fans in every stadium in the league do the same thing.

In 2008 when the Vikings came here (and kicked the crap out of us) me and my dad were blown away just while tailgating before we even went into the stadium. All we were seeing was purple walking by us on into the stadium. We were like what is happening? Then when we got in line to go in it was seriously a sea of purple. Someone tried to get a "let's go cardinals" chant going and we were instantly drowned out by "let's go Vikings!" It was crazy! And the Vikings weren't even good that year!!!! Lol

Like I said before I don't get mad about it anymore. Arizona is a tourism city. People want to come here! Someone on Thursday said about the Detroit game; "it doesn't seem like there are as many Packer fans there as there are here." Duh! Who wants to go to Detroit???? Hmm Detroit in December or freaking Arizona? Lol

Tons of the seats in UofP are owned by brokers for that very reason.

I just hope BA is preparing the players for it. Because I'm sure it's disconcerting as a player to be in first place and playoff bound and have to use a silent count in your own house, and the Cardinals may have to do it 3 times here at the end of their season. I hope the Cardinal ticket holders that sell their tickets gouge the hell out of the Packer fans so bad, that they practically got to go to the rest of the home games for free.

Football ain't cheap anymore, if it takes selling a home ticket or two in order to keep your season tickets, that makes good sense to me.

Considering the nature of Snow Birds and our schedule for our last 3 games, I am shocked they did not put those as 'protect the nest' packages.

Anyone who sells their seats has no right to gripe if we lose any of those three games either - especially if the noise from the opposing fans plays any part in any of the games. You could have been there and been a part of the game but decided to sell out.

Want to make extra cash? Go ahead and buy a ton of transferable airplane tickets for late Sunday/Early Monday.

When the game gets flexed to SNF, a lot of Packer fans may be scrambling to change their tickets and you'll have a healthy demand for your vouchers.

Went to the game against the Vikes in '09 and had the same feeling, but as soon as the game started it was clear that there were definitely more Cardinals fans in the stadium. TBF though the Vikes may have filled about a 3rd of the crowd (which is quite a bit). That was also their first year with Farve at the helm.

We dont even have Cardinal fans doing local sports talk radio. Morning is a 9er fan, the Bertrand Berry show is done with a Seattle fan constantly chiming in about how much he adores Russell Wilson and our afternoon drive is a Giants fan.

This city is what it is.
