If the story is true he was late for the plane for a reason so no.

Whoops hit enter too fast. He apparently missed film stuff on Saturday, they wanted to release him then but decided not to so they had 2 QB's for Sunday. He apparently was pissed off and then missed the flight and had to catch a different flight to get there. The way the story is worded it appears pretty obvious the Texans think he missed the flight on purpose then realized how stupid it was.

No Logan THomas didn't. He had tools but no talent. Mallet has both, just needs to get his head on straight.

But that's been the case for about 6 years now. Some day he might but not clear he's ready to.

Agree, he's had chances but I don't think he's a lost cause. In NE, he obviously wasn't going to play. In Houston, O'Brien kind of pulled the rug from under him when he didn't let him back in after taking a shot to the ribs and had to come out for 1 play.

I have to laugh that he's now a cancer because he made a juvenile play of missing his flight and hurt mostly himself by doing that. I've never read any other effects of him being a problem child in the NFL.

Can't help you there then. If you don't think he has the arm talent to play in the NFL then that's on you.

Easier said than done. He hasnt shown enough promise to merit consideration, and his off-the-field antics and evident poor leadership completely eliminates him from consideration.

He was a heavy drug user in college. Purple drank, coke, and weed. It's possible he's already in the program, and we as Cards fans are very familiar with what that's about COUGH Daryl WashingtonCOUGH

I have to agree that Mallet is better than Barkley, but when you add in what a complete idiot Mallet is, the edge clearly goes to Barkley.

Exactly... Barkley might not have the arm talent of others but it is said he is smart and at least maybe we can craft him to be a backup in the future
