They look like a bunch of front runners. Fold like a lawn chair when the games are close.

It isn't about folding. The more teams see what we are doing, the easier it is to predict and adjust. We don't have enough talent to just win individual matchups over an entire game.

It isn't about having a good game plan going in. It is about having that, understanding what they may try to do to adjust, and then having a plan for that as well. Bettcher hasn't shown the ability to do that.

At the end of the day we're basically saying the same thing. The D isnt getting it done in the second half in our losses. The DC certainly isn't helping but someone needs to make a play. We have more than enough talent to muster up ONE stop vs a third string QB in the second half. Just a pathetic display all around.

If teams know what we are going to do, then it is hard for players to make a play. We aren't that talented on defense, and if you look at our roster, it is pretty apparent. The problem is that the majority of our talent is in the secondary which doesn't have the ability to disrupt an offense like a talented front 7 can.

Tells me someone's making halftime adjustments...and it's not the Cardinals.

Did not get much support from the high-powered offense during either of those.

I don't completely disagree but each unit needs to carry their own water. The offense put up a ton of yardage so the D had enough rest and if they want more then force a punt or get a TO.

How so? They are giving up 37 points, and multiple drives resulting in scores. the defense isn't supporting it's offense by only generating 3 punts in those 10 drives.

If the offense can turn the stats into points the cards don't have these issues. But it is a team game so I'm sure both units will work to address the redzone issues as well as the defense issues.

Yup. Besides Calais there's no one good in the front seven. There are some guys who are adequate, but no one who's capable of winning a one-on-one battle.

+1

Hopefully we learn how to disguise some pressure in the second halves going forward, but given the snap counts recently...I am not too hopeful.
