Saturday night at CHS Field featured another encore appearance of “The Matt Wallner Show.”

The Saints slugger was in “Feast Mode” against vs. Omaha, going 3 for 5 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored — including the game-winning tally — as St. Paul defeated the Storm Chasers 7-6 in 10 innings.

Not to be overshadowed by the outfielder’s efforts, Cody Morrissette also went 3 for 5, with one home run, as well as driving home Wallner with a two-out single to end the game.

The ball was flying out of the park early and often, as the two teams combined for five total homers in the contest.

Grant Hartwig (3-2, 6.43 ERA), the fourth pitcher used by the Saints on the night, earned the win by keeping Omaha completely off the basepaths while striking out two in two innings of work.

The two teams meet for their week-long series finale on Sunday, with first pitch scheduled for 2:07 p.m.
