I wish he wasn't hurt, sucks for him and his family, but on a purely football related note, I don't really care. Speed is nice but it isn't everything. You can't recreate John Brown. Brown is about more than speed, he runs excellent routes and doesn't lose speed on his cuts. As far as I'm concerned he's just eating roster space. I honestly think he hurts the team at this stage of his career.

Nelson does a lot of those things well also, but it's more the mental side of being an NFL WR that is holding him back at the moment. Also he will be losing valuable reps over the next few weeks that will make it less likely that he makes an impact at some point this season.

Sure we don't really need the guy right now, but the missed practice reps could be extremely valuable later in the season if (god forbid) JB gets injured at some point.
