Seattle or Green Bay?

The Cards have at least a 3 game lead on everyone but the Packers when you factor in tie-breakers. Since we don't play them the next tie-breaker is conference record.

Currently...

AZ: 7-0
GB: 5-3

Seattle obvi has 2 games left vs us and a easier remaining schedule.

Bigger threat?

Green Bay. They may actually be a better team than Seattle. Certainly a better QB. And they have a much easier schedule the rest of the way...

Green Bay, they have an easy schedule the rest of way (relatively) Seattle has the toughest schedule in football going forward, although ours is a nightmare also.

i wouldnt even say relatively for GB --

@Minn
NE
Atl
@Buff
@TB
Det

toughest games are at home. Road games are pretty managable

would 6-0 over that stretch shock anybody? 5-1 certainly.

For the first time in my memeory, we don't have to worry about anybody. We are in total control of our division and conference.

We don't have to calculate or hope this team or that team loses so we can make the playoffs.

The thing I love about this team is we have won 9 games in a variety of ways. The one thing that has been a constant is defense. If the offense can just click a little bit more we will awesome.

I'll be glad to give props to the Packers. They have an awesome offense. However , they have lost games where they didn't jump out to big leads.

When they have jumped out in front the other teams become one demensional and makes their defense "better".

If the Packers falter it will be because their opponent made their defense play the whole game. It's not a very good defense.

We are 9-1 and I honestly believe we have not played our best game yet. Could we go 2-4 over the last 7 games...anything is possible. That would still put us at 11-5. Not bad , huh?

We are great at home. We're solid on the road. We can beat ANYBODY on any given day.

So to answer your question... WE are our own biggest threat. And as Bruce Arians said a long time ago....Cardinals will not beat Cardinals!

Green Bay is going to lose one more game maybe two. At this point have to go with Seattle simply because they can knock us down by beating us twice. But reality is: it's gonna take a statistical anomaly in losses by our guys to fall out of a first week bye.

We should all be big Patriots fans, at least in week 13. I think that's our best chance for GB to drop a game. That would put them at 12-4 and 5-3 in the NFC.

If we go 3-3 that also puts us at 12-4. Five of our remaining six games are in the NFC, (@Sea, @Atl, @Stl, SEA, @ SF) if we would go 2-3 in those games that would also put us at 5-3 in the NFC.

The next tie breaker would be W/L vs common opponents
Green Bay - Sea, Det, Det, Phi, Atl
Arizona - Sea, Sea, Det, Phi, Atl

Right now we're 2-0 and Green Bay is 1-2 in those games. If we drop both to Sea and beat Atl, we'll be 3-2 and if Green Bay beats Atl and Det, they'll also be 3-2.

I know I'm getting WAY ahead of myself here, but I just thought it was interesting just how easily this could come down to the 4th tie breaker which is strength of victory. Our "SOV" is currently .450 and Green Bay is currently .385.
