That should be enough to win our division at this point having a 2 game lead on the pack. We already beat the Niners once, so beating the Seahawks once along with beating the Rams should be enough. I don't think the Seahawks can catch us if they don't beat us twice. Who would have thunk it at the beginning of the season?

We could have both coach of the year and MVP by year's end. Can't give it to Palmer just yet since he missed a couple games and we still won. But by year's end, he will surely get lots of votes if we keep winning and finish something like 12-4 or 13-3.

If we keep it up and get home field advantage all the way, I think we just have to win 1 playoff game and would then would be playing for the NFC championship and right to go to the super bowl.

Anyone superstitious? Anyone see or feel any Cardinal jinx waiting round the bend?

I would feel much more comfortable if we beat Seahawks twice and the Rams twice :)

A lot of games left. I think Seattle still has a real shot to catch us. I think SF is done, but respect their roster enough to know they won't go away this early. They still have a shot to make some noise with some good players coming back.

We need to sweep St.L, and split with Seattle. SF will beat us, but only because we'll be resting our starters for the playoffs. :)

There is just too much season left to know. I can't see us going 7-1 in the second half of the season.... 5-3 may be more realistic. 3-5 would suck, but certainly isn't impossible.

I'm more concerned with next week. The Rams have been an enigma this year. 1 week they look like world beaters and the next like a pop warner team. Remember last season Jared Cook fed us our lunch in week 1(the real reason we missed the playoffs last season). They have no running game to speak of so we shouldn't have any trouble there and Davis isn't going to kill you either so what we need to do is score some points. Simple answer I know.

We need to beat the Rams who will treat this game like the Super Bowl due to our record and recent success against the San Francisco Boldiners!

Did you see the Rams QB last week. They can't beat us with him. No Way. Rams are not a threat to us. They won't be able to run against us, and have no passing game. We would have to totally self destruct at home. I can't invision it.

I'm not superstitious but if we thought the first half of the schedule was tough the second half will be twice as hard.

We have the best record in the NFL, and a huge target on our back. Everyone in our division will want to spoil our year, injuries are ALWAYS a possibility--we lose Palmer and our season is over--and everyone else will treat it like the biggest game of the year.

That's why the Rams game scares me so much. One lucky hit on Palmer and it's over for us, even if we go on to win the game.

That being said, you can't play scared, and I really do believe we're a top 3 team in the NFL.

The next tie breaker after h2h is conference record. So losing to Denver wasn't nearly as significant as Seattle losing to Dallas and St Louis. Need to win these next two home games for some breathing room.

Within a division, the tie-breaker after h2h is division record, then common games, then conference record. The least important games WITHIN a division tie-breaker are actually the two non-common games (Detroit and Atlanta for us). For wild-card tie-breakers against other divisions, or for seeding against other division champs, the least important games are the AFC opponents since it would go h2h sweep, conference games, common games (min of 4).
