OK it is, but watch the last 4 plays the Eagles run, there is blatant holding on EVERY single play. I get the let the players play stuff but that doesn't mean let them hold.

I was stunned when they picked up the flag on the horse collar on Cro, it was the right call but his was actually worse than the one they did call earlier.

I noticed it on the last two plays for sure. It looked like who ever was coming from Foles' right was going to be pulled over backwards.

That was a strangely officiated game. In the first half, they couldn't keep their flags in their pocket. In the second half, just the opposite.

Cro didn't pull down on it so it wasn't as bad.

Neither were horse collars. Horse collar has very specific parameters where your hand has to be inside of the collar area, and pull down, not jersey nor by shoulder pads. Neither were horse collars. The first was a phantom, the second they were correct to pick up.

Also, they have to go to the ground or their knees buckle if they don't.

Eagles ended up with one more penalty than the Cards for the game.

Sure didn't seem that way
That's because the Eagles got hit with a lot of dumb 5 yard penalties. When the Cards were hit, it hurt. But to be honest, the officials in general are making themselves too much a part of the game. There were nearly 200 yards in penalties that were accepted and there would have been more on the one's that were declined.

he actually had his left hand real close to the collar although not in it. The one earlier his hand just had a handfull of jersey, it was up near the shoulder pad it was several inches below the collar. But surprise, if you pull the jersey up high like that because it's tight around the pads, the guy is going to fall back just like if you grab the collar.

First half lasted a very long time. The officials need to figure out how long they want a game to last.

Anyone find the gif of the Honey Badger roughing call? The ref wasn't even looking at the play and tossed the flag because Foles went down.

:yeahthat: 200 yards in penalties - takes away a lot of the enjoyment of watching a game.

Honestly there were bad calls on both sides. Most were on the Cards of course. :D

He even tried to turn away from the contact, terrible call

The worst play for me was on our 1st drive. The refs had thrown 6 flags (4 on Philly, 2 on us for false starts) and then we throw the deep pass to Floyd in the end zone and he gets absolutely mauled and no flag is thrown with a ref standing right next to the play.

The ball is a little under-thrown so Floyd has to slow down to try to make a play on it & the Eagles defender Fletcher runs into Floyd's chest with 2 arms wrapped around him easily 2 seconds before the ball comes into the frame. Fletcher continues to tackle/shove Floyd to the ground as the ball finally gets close & then releases one of his arms from his bearhug grip & clubs Floyd in the helmet. Floyd still should've made the catch... the ball went through his hands & hit his right chest pad.

Somehow after 6 penalties on 1 drive, the refs ignore a blatant pass interference that would've given us a 1st & goal from the 1 yard line. We easily score a TD if the right call is made & this would've been a deciding play if we ended up losing this game.

I was at the game & the replays on the jumbotron were so clear about how bad of a missed call that was. Watching it on my DVR now, it's ridiculous how the announcers are talking about how Floyd just dropped it & how great of a defensive play it was.

Yeah that was pretty clearly PI.
