Sunday's game vs the Iggles is sold out. #89! I think I have missed less than 10 of those 89. I know the term "sold out" can be debated... however, I can safely say that IMHO, the 80 or so games I have attended have all been lively & LOUD packed houses!!

This is such a wonderful streak for those of us 31 thousand that used to support the Cards at SDS. It is even better for the franchise. Good stuff ----- this streak of sellouts. Keep it going people.

I really take this with a grain of salt. It is a nice message but when I look at the club sections on TV they are almost always 50 to 60% full.

I've been a season ticket holder since Jiffy Pop opened in '06, and I think I've missed maybe 2 games in that time.. maybe 1? No selling out my seats to some turd in a Cowboys jersey. This weekend, the missus is out of town, so I'm flying in my high school pal & later boss, who is a huge Chip Kelly fan as he is an Oregon alumnus. I'll make sure I make more noise than he does.

nope

We got really really drunk and had double and sometimes triple or more vision. It made our punter at QB a little more tolerable! mirrors would have completely overwhelmed some card fans- it would have been wow- like there was 2 more interceptions!

31k?
Was there a mirror in your section?

Way to represent guys and gals. Really mean that. Wife and I don't go much now, maybe a couple games a year. Went to almost every game at SDS since the time they got here though. I was younger then and drunk fools and waiting in line for sweet libations and endless stairs didn't bother me as much.

Have to say though, the way ya'll meet up and such makes my wife and I want to go just to meet some of you.

I bet there aren't too many of our fans that are "bandwagon" fans like the Broncos (and other teams that are winning). We have been through some really tough years seeing our team be the best 3 qtr team for decades! We finally switched the script and found ways to win games instead of losing them (usually in the 4th qtr). Proud to be a Phoenix and Arizona Cardinals fan since they day they came to the valley of the sun. I'll be there Sunday and doing my part to get our Cards to 6-1!

IIRC, the team did pick up some tickets to have the blackout lifted as the Whisenhunt era staggered to a close.

I have Club seats. Agree that it is about 50% full. Sell out doesn't include the so called "premium" sections. Don't know why?

Club seats don't count anyway and they only account for about 5%of the total capacity. They don't count because you have to sign a 3 year contract and a bunch of other Mumbo jumbo. When you're actually in the stadium you can see how insignificant they are it just looks like a lot on TV.

And anyone who was at SDS games with only about 20,000 other die hards knows that a sellout streak is a great thing for this team regardless of a couple "gray areas"

This team has come sooooooo far. It's amazing.

+1

Slightly less than 20,000 during a miserable part of history.

Well said. There were games at SDS where it was just a graveyard. Tumbleweeds were blowing through. My buddies and I would regularly walk down to the field and snipe vacated seats, right on the field at the 50 yard line. It was empty and happened all the time.

To even be able to imagine what its become took great vision. I never would have believed back then. Lot of props to Michael Bidwill.

Lot of props also to hard-core fans. It isn't easy sucking for so long. Back then I was just happy to have an actual NFL team and be able to go to real NFL games. A sense of doom permeated those teams though, I expected us to find a way to lose. We would manufacture losses back then.

I still haven't gotten that completely out of my system. Doesn't matter if we're winning, I still worry we'll choke. I know most dudes and dudettes on here do also because I read the panic on the game day threads. Lol.

Very proud of how the Phoenix metro area has represented itself with regards to Cardinals.

I live in OK (and am part of the rabid OU fan base), and I can confidently say that you guys/ladies come across as some of the best pro football fans in the country.
