If you think that Kraft a billionaire owner and figure head in MA didnt call some inside source with the state police asking how bad does it look then you dont know how this works much. It happens on lower levels in every town. I know from working and networking with company owners and city "big shots"

I understand what you're saying, but it is a big difference to say that he was let go by the team because they feel he may be charged/may be guilty...and saying they cut him because they KNOW he is guilty.

As I said in a previous post, one the authorities have enough evidence to arrest they would. Apparently they now had enough to issue the arrest warrants and start bringing in people. Was there anything published about the others who were with Hernandez that night and if they were also arrested?

I have yet to even hear the name of his attorney(s). Who are usually the people who first make that proclamation.

I think it's pretty obvious the Patriots know which way the wind is blowing. Who knows what he told them when he went to the stadium.

Innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. But the Patriots aren't a court of law.

From an NFL perspective with a salary cap, you don't get rid of a guy with the cap hit of Hernandez unless you are absolutely sure. Has to be something similar to a Kolb release hit.

You don't do that if you think he has a shot of playing again. So while legally he's still innocent, the Patriots are saying he's quite guilty of something. It is quite a long contract, so even a year in jail shouldn't necessitate a release. He had six years left on his contract.

I just don't see any NFL team taking a hit such as that without knowing something. Otherwise they'd let it play out and cut him later. They were already under the cap. So they could have kept him had they felt he had a shot to beat it.

NFL teams are there to win. Hernandez is a very talented guy at a position where Gronk is becoming a big question mark. They have 12 mill dead space now from it. Even if he was to miss a whole year fighting this thing, the Pats could of done it, especially with contract and Gronk's issues. Something within the situation said despite all these issues, the prudent move was to release him.

The courts will find out what happened legally, but I think the Patriots move pretty much says it all. I think we're at a point now where the question becomes....did he pull the trigger, or was he just involved in the group that killed the guy?

I don't care how much money Kraft has. There is no way to predict how a jury will go. The Casey Anthony trial should have taught you that.

Now you are just making stuff up, noone has said he has nothing to do with it. All people have said is they wont hang him until he is found guilty or some kind of evidence is presented.

That actually applies to the law process, on a message board anything goes (within reason lol) Poeples opinions aren't convicting the guy.
Personally I'm waiting for more evidence but from what it looks like now it sure doesn't look good for him, then again he could get off scott free and not be charged which, again, is why I wait to hear more
