Got nothing better to talk about, what can we get for DD?

2nd rounder? Id take that. DWASH was a 2nd rounder and you cant put a price on him.

1st + 2 2nds in 2013 (along with a new HC), would be a helluva boost. Could totally rebuild our Oline. Maybe grab a beast OLB in D Moore or Jarvis Jones.

Just think what Horton could do with one of them.

trade bait!
Not even talk worthy.

A 2nd for a malcontent 32 year old(33 by next season) DT? Yea right.

Raiders traded a 1st and a couple others for a washed up Carson Palmer. Its possible.

DD still has the reputation as being dominant. We can go off that.

QB's are valued 100% higher than aging DT's.

If true lost lotta respect for DD. that's just vile!

It just goes to show how frustrated this team particularly the D is. At this point I got to believe they are playing their hearts out for Horton, not Whisenhunt.

So Dockett was deliberately disobeying the gameplan and spit in Rhodes' face when Rhodes called him out on it? Yeah, that's a pretty big deal.

Dockett is supposed to be one of the team leaders. For the money he's making, it shouldn't be too much to ask. Pulling a Titus Young on the team is completely unacceptable. I'm not sure if I'd mind if he was gone tomorrow.

At this point I think its fruitless to try and justify doing that regardless of what or how the team is playing or whom for. Just a classless and senseless act that is beyond disgusting and nothing warrants it. Even more selfish that he didnt want the team to score even though its clearly the better option.

I thought it was nothing, all blown out of proportion? I think you need to start facing the facts.

In the grand scheme it IS NOTHING. But it it certainly is disgusting on DD part.

Hold it.

There was a disagreement over defensive strategy and passions took over.

I don't have a problem with that. I hope the 2 guys will mend fences. At least they were reflecting a lot of intensity. I'd be more concerned if they were lackadaisical (though spitting, of course, is a no-no).

Note - I also was thinking about our giving up the easy touchdown and then using the additional time to "go for 8". There were both pluses and minuses to that strategy. The important thing is that, at the very least, it was plausible and worth considering.

Bottom line - Onward! (Don't look back).

You could sense at this point in the season the defense had one more game in them before all hell broke loose. Another 3 turnovers and nada. Look for them to pack it in like Philly the for the rest of the season...

I'm sick of blaming personel and coaches.... 20+ years in the desert and all of this, everything goes straight to ownership. It sickens me because I can't see myself rooting for another team and I love football.

Down with Bidwills

That is so 2002. Bidwills are not the problem. Teams lose. There are a ton of reasons why. Michael Bidwill didn't play Lindley the last 3 weeks or spit in anyone's face.

Can you imagine if this happened on the Jets? This would be covered to death. The Jets are imploding!
On the Cards? By tomorrow, this would not be discussed.

Sad but true. Once again the Cardinals have become irrelevant in the world of NFL football. :(

Oh by the way I did hear that XM Radio will carry the rest of the Cardinals games this season. They'll be broadcast on the Laugh USA Channel.

Now I'm left wondering who leaked this story out? Whiz has already stated today he wanted to keep this incident in-house. The talk about Whiz losing the lockeroom begins with direct instructions not being followed here. Let's face it, this sounds like a POV from within the Cardinal defense. Not good for DD, not good for Whiz. When Mike hears this story got out, bet he aint going to be happy because I bet Whiz already "assured" him it was being handled. Which player on our team knows this reporter, I wanna know, what's the dilly-florio?

this is an insane post Shane. spitting on a player on the opposing team is HUGE deal... spitting on your OWN teammate, who's trying to get you to listen to the COACH'S gameplan? That's about as big a blowup as you can have on a team, that's coming apart at that seams.

You are free to think that. But the way that D has played the last 3 weeks it is a hardly coming apart. It was a simple case of DD being DD IMO. Which is clearly a douche!

He was being a me player which really isnt much of a shock.

This... People can play this down all they want. But, when one of the so-called leaders on the team flakes out to this extent, it's B.A.D. bad...

Sure, it's not like we were fighting for a playoff spot. But, the team does need to know what we have going forward. Clearly, DD is not on-board nor respectful of his coached and his teammates. Dude messed up - BIGTIME!

Yup he did. But dont for a minute believe it is indicative of teh entire team and some all important incident that is gonna send them into some spiral(they were already in one)

If we asked to name one player who you think was capable of this? Im sure DD would be tops on the list or close to it.

That's all true Shane. But of course, it does nothing to minimize the act and the statement it makes about this team, the players, the coaches and just how poorly concieved it all is.
DD has indeed always been a guy who flirted on the edge of this stupid stuff. But, when he got paid he definitely calmed the antics down.
Until now. When the team is crumbling. The head coach has tossed in the towel. Where does the leadership come from? There will be 4 more games and more seasons to come.
It's a very vivid illustration of the cancer that has now gone stage 4 on this team.

Sorry. But this incident with DD could just as easily have happened if we were 8-4 he just a hot head. Of course because it happened while we are 4-8 you guys are using it as fuel for Whiz's fire. Big shock. lol

It's indicative of a bigger problem than just a case of "DD being DD" or "DD being a hothead".

There is really no way you can justify this. I just can't fathom the emotions that coarse through your veins laying it all out week after week and getting ridiculed when it is out of your control. Dude lost it. If he is man enough he and Rhodes will be fine. Dd will always be one of my all time favorites.

Thats what many of you would like to believe sure. But none of you have any proof of this whatsoever and its convenient for your bash fest. More power to ya.
