The Cards are obviously terrible, and will probably be one of the leading teams for the #1 overall pick next year. So my question is, if we do in fact get the #1 pick, do we draft Andrew Luck and build around him, or do we trade the pick for someone's entire draft, and then some, but stay with Kolb?

I, for one, would absolutely 100% draft Luck, and build the entire team around him, as the Colts did with Manning.

110%. Just eat the guaranteed Kolb money, its whatever.

IF the Cardinals didnt take Luck, I swear I will forego my Cardinals fanship

We will never get that pick.

We NEVER draft 1st and we're not going to start during one of the best years to do it ever.

Nope, expect a win here or there and another bad pick, we'll never sniff that pick, mark it down.

Rams agree.

Rams are a good team. They are just young and dont have a WR. As long as Luck doesnt end of in the NFCW, Rams and Bradford will run the division in a few years.

I'm not so sure. Whiz's incompetence isn't leading this team anywhere. They are going to start the season 1-6, and Fans will be begging for Luck.

Don't think I'd expected Whisenhunt to coach Luck up to maximize his potential.

I don't care if we drafted John Unitas in his prime, we will never win until this organization realizes how important a good defensive and offensive line means to winning.

You draft Luck but is has nothing to do with Kolb. You do not pass up on Luck unless you are Have Cam Newton or Tom Brady. Every other team drafts him, so two trade down and get a butt load of picks.

If we do get the #1 pick, expect Whiz to be fired, and a whole new coaching staff assembled. Much like the Panthers, most recently.

Forget Andrew Luck. Get the 2nd or 3rd pick or however high enough to draft Robert Griffin III from Baylor.

Griffin is a stud, my best friends nephew plays TE for Baylor and I have watched them play and Robert is the real deal

There is too much talent on this team and the division is too weak. What we should do is draft a new Head Coach and new coordinators

Somebody mentioned that this year's team is like the 2006 team. And that is a good analogy except that Warner throws a wrench in the comparison.

The 2006 team had several good young players and a new QB.

Boldin,Hayes,RWells,Dansby,Dockett,Fitz,ASmith,Rolle,Lutui...They just weren't ready. Two years later that group was instrumental in getting the Cards to the SB.

But I don't think Kolb is anywhere near good enough to guide the young talent to the postseason.

You mean the amazing 'talent' of Porter, Haggans, Brown, Keith, Taylor etc..? Im sorry, but the reason why this team is horrible is due to the fact that this team has inferior talent at very important positions. You can certainly blame Whiz for supporting these players inability to play at a high level, but at the end of the day, this team doesn't have the necessary talent to excel past mediocrity.

Yes, you take Luck. Has nothing to do with Kolb though. You let Kolb play a couple of years, and move Luck in after sitting the bench for a year and a half or so. In that year on the bench, you fix the ef out of the Oline.

Not saying give up on Kolb right away but you definitely draft Luck and don't look back.

Rams are a good team? Give me some of what you are smoking because they have not been competitive in any of their games so far and have clearly regressed from last year. :lmao:
