SILB Martez Wilson, Ill declars for for Draft.

llini LB enters draft ... Illinois junior MLB Matrez Wilson has announced he will be entering the 2011 draft. The 6-3, 250-pound Wilson figures to be a second round choice this coming April. Meanwhile, pro teams are still waiting to hear from Illinois junior RB Mikel LeShoure who figures to be oneof the top 2-3 backs off the board this year if he turns pro this week. Underclassmen have until the end of business on Saturday o file paperwork with the NFL to be included in the upcoming draft.

I have been watching this kid for the last 3yrs and if you want a C. Dansby clone here he is.
He played MLB and there Bandit position. 6-3.5 250 lbs and runs a 4.6 40. If we somhow get another 2nd rounder I would be all over this kid.

I should of said it better. He can play just like a younger and better G. Hayes. He can stack and attack at the point of the run and run with the RB and TE. He also has Physical abilities, Height, Weight running ability.

I think we are in a perfect position to move down to #8. Tenn now has no QB signed for 2011. Kerry Collins and the 3rd stringer are FA and V. Young is being let go. Bud Adams wants to make a statement and I bet he will want to move up to get either Newton or Gabbert. Thats just my thoughts.

No I would rather wait and try to get Vontaze Burfict from ASU. Can you imagine him and Daryl Washington playing side by side? Just incredible.

Every year leading up to the draft I have a fantasy of us trading down to get extra picks. This year I am so caught up in getting the PQOF that I have that fantasy far less than usual. I would be all for trading back multiple times to get 1st rd picks for next year to go get Luck.

It is painfully obvious we need to do something to shore up our run D. Williams projected growth will help but it won't be enough. SILB has to be addressed via FA or the draft.
