I remember how raw Toler seemed last year in camp. He looked much better this year and is ahead of my expectations. Thanks Shane for reminding me of another positive for the season.

This could be the best Card cornerback combo in decades. I love what they bring to the table.

I am so glad Toler is playing so well in spite of Coach Whiz.

watch the tapes of toler in preseason and then go back and watch mcfadden in new orleans. doesn't really require any explanation. toler is a huge step up.

I think the Cards defense will have the Nhamdi Asomogha (sp?) syndrome in that very few balls will be thrown in DRC's way. This means Toler is going to get a lot of attention, so he needs to be on his heels at any given moment and not give up on any play. Ive been impressed with his play since the Rams game in Week 16 last season. He can tackle, cover man, pick the ball and best of all, he's not a ball hawk.

I love Toler...IMO he's the perfect complement to DRC.

Agreed...and I compliment you for using the correct spelling of complement. Now if people would just learn to spell ridiculous (not rediculous) and know the difference between core and corps.

I think this is the most athletic secondary we've ever had. Our athleticism on D has upgraded a ton in just one off-season. The concern is that there is a lot of youth and inexperience as well, this year our D may struggle but I look for us to have a top 5 D in a year or two.

We just need to find one more ILB and get some OLB help for the long term. Every other position is pretty much locked up for a while.

I love this secondary. This team has had issues with CB's for years and it seems they finally found the right duo. I would love to see more depth though...

Don't forget the painfully hideous overuse of quotations.

What's wrong with that "per say"? Irregardless, I am totally decimated by your comment. Although when it comes to quotes, I can take them or leave them and am understandably ambivalent on the subject. I thought about using more quotes, but you know what they say - could of, would of, should of. I'm not inferring that people should change the way they right but your not going to convince me that these continuous mistakes our anything but an indictment of are education system.

Mulli-----you should mean, BECAUSE OF COACH WHIZ. It was he who found Donnie Henderson and brought him in to coach up the secondary. He has even made giant inroads to Rashad Johnson's game along with Adams and Ware. Don't you suppose that he will be doing some real scheming with Wilson and Rhodes now that we have Watson and Williams to plug up the middle and stop the run without having to stack the box?

That was both awesome & horrifically painful at the same time. Well done, sir.
