They'll likely get graded high because, for some reason, every analsyt loves them but i like their picks for the Cards sake. Do they even have a game plan on offense? The 2nd half of last year they hardly used Gore and went with Alex Smith throwing 40 times a game for 95 yards. Now, they draft 2 OL to try and become a smash mouth team. It looks like they have no clue of what type of offenive team they want to be.

As for the players, Davis is a huge question mark. If his motivation is being questioned at the college level, how motivated is he going to be when he already has millions in the bank? I can see him becoming a Wendell Bryant type pick. Iupati, i like, but he's taking a huge step up in competition from whoever Idaho plays to the NFL. It's easy to push around Big Sky(if that's their conference) players at 6'5 330 pounds. It's a little different at the NFL level when the players are as big as he is and alot more athletic.

I was worried SF wold take Dez Bryant and team him with Crabtree to give them a pretty nice young recieving corp. If i was SF, I would have taken Bryant and Clausen. Get some offense to go with a pretty decent defense. They could get an OT in round 2 that will be every bit as good at Davis. I still think Charles Brown will turn out to be the best OT down the road.

I agree. I am also not concerned about the players the Seahawks added. SEA could have used Bryant as well.

Huh? The worst part of their team BY FAR is their offensive line and they got 2 of them to come in and start Game 1. SF should be loving the draft right now. They still have a chance to move up and get Claussen/McCoy too.

The OL was not worse BY FAR than the receivers after Crabtree and the QB position.

Actually I think the coaching staff is the weakest link.

No way, they upgraded their WR with Crabtree and Davis came into his own last year as well. I have a couple 49er fans for friends and they all wanted offensive line help. They can still upgrade QB early too.

Coaching staff is another matter....

The Colts have the worst QB situation after Peyton Manning.

Just for that....... I can't think of nothing to bump.... oh well.

Crabtree is to Peyton like Matt Schaub is to Larry Fitzgerald.

It's just pointing out that one person can make a WR core.

Houston's core sucks without Andre Johnson.

That is not what we are talking about. But Houston is an 8-8 team as well. If you and SF want to them to stay 8-8, I agree with you.

We are talking about their team weaknesses. Offensive line, other than LT QB, S, WR in that order.

That if you have no problem with SF keeping a WR corps that results in them being 8-8, like Houston, more power to you.

We were a 6 win team with Boldin and Fitzgerald at one point. Did we need to change the WR core then too?

You lost me.

You said that they needed to upgrade their WR core because they were only 8-8. I said we had Boldin and Fitz and were a 6 win team. Did we need to upgrade our WR core because we only won 6 games?

I said they were 8-8 because of their WR corps made their offense stoppable. The Cards were not 6-10 because of their WR corps.

I think they were 8-8 more because they went away from Gore, not necessarily because they went to their WR's if that makes sense.
