We wont have the time to do a 2nd round for every team, but I would like to get to the rest of the Cardinals picks. That's 6 picks in 18 days. I will let voting go on for 3 days for each pick and the winner will be the highest vote getter at that time.

But what players are you going to put in the poll?

I will be adding in players based on thehuddlereports rankings. Here is how I will do that and I will be using this pick as an example. I will take any player ranked from 5 above our pick all the way down to one below our next pick. So that means we will be voting on any player ranked #53 through #87 on their rankings.

I know that players above #53 in this example could fall to us but without knowing for sure I feel this is the best way to keep out bias. It is also why there will be no selection for us to pick OTHER.

I am using thehuddlereport rankings because I like it the best, and not everyone has access to it since it is a pay site. I don't want people to know who is ranked lower because it might sway your vote for this draft pick if you know so and so will be there in round 3. Just like in a real draft you have no idea who will be there for your next pick so I want that same sort of realism with this as well.

So there are going to be a lot of players to pick from in this poll so read over them all carefully before you vote. I also added in schools for anyone that may not know who these prospects are and may want to research a little more if they so choice.

#26 - Cardinals - NT Terrance Cody
#58 - Cardinals - ???

Koa Misi as well. I like his flexibility, and think that he can translate inside.

Let me say this, if the draft falls like this & thats most of our options we have in round 2 we are in deep s*@%t. Thats why I dont like fatman at #26. Spending a #1 for a guy thats gives you 20 plays a game isn't worth the gamble.

I went with Aaron Hernandez - TE. I think Coach Wiz might see a little Dallas Clark in him and want that for his offense.

Norwood and Gibson also have some good appeal as rushers outside. Ghee is appealing as well, but I think it is too early.

I don't see that at all. There are a lot of great prospects on board still.

Anyone still worried about CB, OL, TE, or OLB have some great options to pick from IMO.

He would get 30 a game minimum. I also don't see Pitt or NE fans complaining about only playing Wilfork or Hampton only half the defensive snaps. Heck both just got paid huge money to only play half the defensive snaps.

OK before i make my pick I would like to see Joe who you picked between 33 - 57 so I can have a better view of who is left. I think you left some ILB off the list. J. Chancy, D. Watson and AJ Edds.

I like your logic joe, I just don't like the player. Picking up a Lee or Hughes, Washington will have a bigger impact on this D in the future in my opinion. But thats why its called the NFL draft, a gamble.

Yeah, but if you're worried about ILB (like me), you're hoping the Cards use their 3rd round pick to trade up (which I actually think is going to happen). I don't like any of these guys to take Dansby's place, and I'm not interested in drafting a projection like Misi in the second round.

I was tempted by McCoy because I think he's what Whis wants in his offense at the TE position--a Heath Miller type--, but I ended up going with the CB from Oklahoma.

I went with Eric Norwood. The guy is just a solid football player and excellent at putting pressure on the QB.

I don't mind Cody being picked in the first round, just as long as it isn't by the Cardinals. And I'm sure the team feels the same way.

Wow, they obviously don't think very highly of Sean Lee.

Wow, they obviously don't think very highly of Sean Lee.

Lots of places have him ranked outside of the 2nd round.

Everyone seems to love to use this site - http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2010_ILB

Just like on draft day the trick is will he be taken between #59 and #88 or in this scenario is he ranked @ #83 or lower in these rankings?

Cant make trades to make sure you get your player like K9 stated, which makes it hard.

Admittedly its a different process to take but its the only one I could come up with without actually making a poll for each and every single pick in the draft.

Vlad Ducasse. He just SCREAMS prototypical Russ Grimm lineman.

And I think he projects as a tackle.

I like him too, but can't see us not getting some kind of LB help in the 1st two rounds.

But none of the LBs available can fill the hole at WILL adequately and I think they are too high on Brown and Davis to burn another early pick on a rush linebacker.

Did you have a problem drafting Beanie to split plays with Hightower? If not how is that any different than drafting Cody to split plays with other DTs?

Í'm not gonna judge on the guy, don't know him that well, and haven't seen him play and even if i did, i'm not a scout. But read this a couple of says ago and found it interesting enough to post it regarding Ducasse...

JR: Getting back to the mental toughness concept. What you said there reminds me of down in Mobile (Senior Bowl week) where we stood with (the GM of his team) and watched Vlad Ducasse beg the coaches to move back inside after a couple of bad plays at tackle. Is that more of what you’re talking about?

Scout: You got it. I know we said right then there ain’t no way he’s ever gonna make it. He’s afraid of getting beat and looking bad. That’s the risk you run with the smaller college guys and the kids that everyone calls “projects” (yes, he made the air quotes!). There is a hell of a lot of pressure on those kids to try and hit home runs on every pitch and never look bad. Especially early on. Some of the kids can handle it, some can’t. He can’t, and that ain’t gonna change. Move him to guard, whatever...that’s (how they handle it) hard to see from those kids that come from small schools or kids like him that haven’t played very long.
