Let's see. (7) games left for us to try and sneak into the play-offs. I calculate we NEED (17) different things to happen for us to get in. Man, that's ALOT to hope for. BUT, it can happen. This really sucks!! I was so hopeful this year. After so many years of disappointment. BUT, here we are at 3-6. AGAIN! ....For the umpteenth time. WHY? WHY does this keep happening?? Year after year after year... WHY???? AARRGGHHH!!!!:bang:

Honey...Honey....WAKE-UP!!! You're having a bad dream. "Huh"?? "What"?? You were having a bad dream. "Oh, babe." It was HORRIBLE!! :(I dreamed we were back in the pre-Whiz' era and had NO realistic shot at the play-offs!! AGAIN!!! THANK GOD!! It was just a dream." Honey, you're still shaking... Babe, can ya' just hold for me awhile?? Sure, Sweetheart...:) ...And put on the "new" Cards pod-cast so I KNOW we're STILL 6-3 and in 1st Place. YES! Sweetheart. :) "WOLF" will calm your nerves.

Just a silly reminder of how GOOD it is to be a CARDINALS' fan these days. :D ENJOY every second of it my friends. GO CARDS!! :D

Hell, there were years when at 3-6 we still thought we had a chance!!! It wasn't until we were at 3-9, did I start thinking about what top 5 pick we could get. Draft day was my Super Bowl. Whiz isn't flashy. At times, he's too conservative & at times, he takes too many chances. But one thing is for certain - he's a WINNER. If we can start making regular trips to the playoffs (and we should), this franchise will become a mecca for free agents. AZ is a great place to live & Whisenhunt is a great coach to play for. This is what Bill Bidwill envisioned when he brought the franchise here. The stadium has been his salvation. The hard part is that our longstanding fans don't know how to deal with success. After 45 years of mostly losing, I am programmed to expect the worst. When the Steelers have a 28 point lead at halftime, do they consider the game over? You bet they do. As a Cardinal fan, I'm not comfortable with a 28 pt. lead until there's about 7 minutes left in the game & we have the ball. I've seen too much misery over the years to ever think the game is over. Even in the 70's, when we had a nice stretch, our defense was so bad, that we knew we needed 35 pts to win. I just hope that over the next few years, we can sit back & a watch this team with confidence bordering on cockiness. Great teams have cocky fans for a reason. That's what I want for Arizona Cardinal fans. After all these years, we deserve that!!! GO CARDINALS!

I'll confess -- if it was mathematically possible, I never gave up. In fact by Wednesday I was convinced we'd win out.
Good reminder NSDF. I guess most Cardinal fans were like that, including me. It even reminded me of the '98 season. Most fans recall the playoff game at Dallas, but remember what it took just to get there? Sitting at 6-7, we HAD to win the last 3 games of the regular season (which we did by 3 points or less in each game) and we still NEEDED other 'things' to happen!

Now, according to playoffstatus.com we have a 91% chance of making the playoffs right now and the Rams, Lions and Bucs fans are hoping There's a chance

I really enjoyed that. I've had that nightmare as well. Since 1988 when the headaches started, then the heart went and I still went to every game. I held on to a bright spot. Believe me some years there were no spots at all. Good night. Whos got the pain pills? Oh yea I remember we are 6-3! Go figure.
