How many of the Packer fans in the state have any connection to Wisconsin?

Even after a Super Bowl, this state is still cursed by Steeler, Packer and Cowboy fans who have no connection to "their team".

Saw a couple people in Tucson today with Packer jerseys and quite a few at UoP tonight on TV. I wonder how many of them were actually fans during the Don Majkowski era or have any connection to Green Bay

I am just amazed that these people call themselves "fans"

probably more than you'd think when you actually look at the # of people who transplant here from the midwest

look at the AZ population growth #s, these people came from many places and at tonights game a good portion of them had on packers jerseys that outdated the cardinals ones

I can see Chicago and even Kansas City. But Wisconsin?

And how come we never see any Lion or Bengal fans if that many people are from the Midwest?

Of course it's great to have all home team fans in the stands. But it doesn't always work out that way. As long as somebody, a lot of bodies, are going thru them turnstiles, then business is good. The NFL is a business 1st. Without opposing team fans, some NFL teams would pack their suitcases and leave town. No hard feelings, just economics. Be glad somebody is paying for those tickets, cause if they weren't, it'd be bye bye birdies.

I've been to the lions game the past 2 times they've been out here and there were plenty of lions fans - the guy up the street from me has a big lions decal on his truck as well

however, WI has a huge population of people out here - I work with 2 people from wisconson in a relatively small office, my last job had 5 transplants, one of my wifes old coworkers was an older lady who we became friends with after we moved out - she was from MN, but her husband was from WI (and played football for UW Superior) - my wifes, sisters, husband (whew) went to ASU for 2 years before he had to move back to WI for family reasons

WI and MN people are all over this place ...... the schools were even being very aggressive in recruiting teachers from those states during the population boom

there's a reason why the basketball game last year at UoP featured the gophers and the gophers often play in the insight bowl - the twins get good crowds for interleague - the brewers spring training has some pretty dedicated fans as well

it's also not like they are the majority of the population, it's not even close - but WI people absolutely love to drink beer and watch football ......... it's what they do

There are alot of Packer fans in AZ.. They just aint as annoying or jerks like Steeler Cowboy or Raider fans.. I was born in WI and make a point to confront Packer fans every chance I get.. They are harmless.. They just have a large big fan base..

Most of the Packer fans I know have tight WI roots. Many people in my department are Pack fans from WI.

I was born in Wisconsin, moved to Arizona when I was 6. There are a lot of people from Wisconsin in Arizona. Wisconsin is a frozen hell compared to Arizona.

Been a Cards season ticket holder for 11 years, don't have any Packer gear.

I think Ohio retirees go to FLA and SC, and Virgina. WI and MN head to AZ. IA and MI are too damn poor to retire and are trapped.
I may live in MN but I'm an IA guy at heart, so looks like I'll be the Walmart greeter in Minneapolis instead of enjoying being a season ticket holder.
Bummer.
