Bodden might be worth a look. I am pretty sure that this was just a money move. Also, any OL depth is worth a gander.

Mulitalo interests me. I would love to have Bodden at a decent price.

I am pretty sure that Furry has had two injury plagued seasons. Seems to have hit that wall.

i thought furrey was a serviceable possession wr...
True, however we have no need whatsoever at that positon. Even without Q we are stacked there. Let me be the first to say that Early Doucet is gonna surprise any and all doubter next year when he is trucking over people Q style.

Not good enough for the 0-16 team=not good enough for NFC champs.

I really think we are going to be disappointed with free agency. We will lose a couple and sign a couple, it will probably look like a wash to us. I believe the engineer is building a machine, he will not want to go out and buy a ton of used parts. Look at the results from last year, we didn't add much but the machine ran much smoother and longer.

Mulitalo would be an excellent veteran back-up - at the right price.

Bodden is a strange story. Last season he emerged as one of the best young CBs for Cleveland. He was traded to Detroit for Pro-Bowl DT Shaun Rogers, but didn't play that well this season and reportedly couldn't get along with DC Berry.

He still started 15 games, but the Lions didn't think Bodden was worth the $8,6M roster bonus, that he was due.

Bodden could definately upgrade the CB position for this team, but I don't know if a top CB is in the teams plans.

And for some reason I think Ron Bartell could be in the plans. Solid #2 CB now and still developing.

The 1998 Colts say that a record doesn't always come from talent alone. Coaching, timing, and circumstance also play a role.

The modern era Patriots also do well with other teams' castoffs.

Bodden was cut due to a pending $8.5M Roster Bonus in March.

The rest are up there in age and the Lions probably want a fresh start (yet another).

When Campbell was with the Giants, he was considered a good blocking TE. I believe Parcells brought him to Dallas. Don't know anything about his current ability.
