The more I think about it the more I believe we will go OLB to take over for Berry's spot and FS to take Holts spot with our first 2 picks.

Those are pretty good rankings. I agree with a lot of it. Personally, I'm surprised to see Cherilus and Merling that low.

This offensive tackle class is DEEP.

Who put that collage together?

That is one thin skill position draft on offense.

If I was a GM / PPD , I would rather take Joe Flacco in the 3rd round than Brohm, Woodson, Ryan at the top of the 1st. Never Henne. That guy is the 2nd coming of Navarre.

Stewart, Mendenhall only in the first.

:jawdrop: Even if you don't, there will be plenty of NFL GMs who will. I guess I was confused about whether you were making a prediction or saying what you would do.

If I was a GM / PPD
That's what I said. If I worked for Jets, Cards, Seahawks, Eagles, Chiefs,Falcons(teams who need RBs) I would take Stewart or Mendenhall ahead of McFadden, and in an Offensive anemic draft, I can't rationalize 3 RBs going early in the first.

( He has Bush like off field issues )

I think top to bottom, this is a thinner draft than most years.

Offensive tackles -

somewhere between Long and Sam Baker there is a pretty big drop off.

Baker might be well known, but he has flaws and at least IMO isnt an "elite" type prospect (i.e. not sure if he is first round)-- not sure if he is as good a prospect as Joe Staley much less Joe Thomas. Same can be said to Loadholt (who hasnt declared yet) and Mo Collins. The other guys I havent seen play.

To answer a few questions...

-I made all the cards, put this together, and these are my rankings.

-I'm the head draft scout from NFLSpot.com

-This draft is considered to be one of the deepest if not the deepest draft in history.

-The RB, OT, TE, WR, CB, and DL classes are immensly deep with talen. The only thing this class as a whole lacks are super elite prospects at the top end.

Also, I added some more RB, WR, CB, and S prospects.

I disagree with you.

Nce colage of college talent. With the large group of underclassmen it should be fairly deep. How deep? 6th round deep like 2 yrs. ago?

RB depth is incredible this year. Aside from the year that 3 were drafted in the top five, the year we got Antrel Rolle, this is the best RB class in recent memory. Even in round 2 or 3, there will be good talent with all the juniors that have declared.

Forsett is too high, and Lavelle Hawkins is too low he got overshadowed at Cal by Jackson and they were all stuck with a mediocre QB but I think Hawkins will eventually be a very solid NFL WR.

Forsett is a great kid and works his butt off but he's just too small.

What about BPA? This board's holy grail?

Seriously, slan, you may be right but somewhere, somehow, we need two RBs.

But do you need to draft two? At best Edge will take almost all the carries for a third straight year and the first one drafted would be number 2 while the second has to fight with Arrington and Shipp for any playing time, granted I think Shipp is gone and Arrington may be too (thought I think they found a niche for him and will keep him)

Got to tell you guys, I love reading this stuff, "expert" rankings followed by lots of certainty-laden opinions. That's what message boards are for.

darnik is the head draft scout at nflspot.com and he wants you to visit there, otherwise he wouldn't post that compilation (very nice, by the way) here.

darnik may or may not be better than dummy McShay or Kiper or others. In all likelyhood, he'll be dead wrong on about 50% of his top 64 and so will all the rest of us.

I'm no draftnik but this stuff is fun. I read it all but draw the line at paying for the privilege. Since Joel Bushbaum died, haven't read a single "expert" with credibilty.
