It's impossible to say for another month, right? There's a 100% chance that at least 60% of those tantalizing FAs on the websites aren't going to be available once free agency opens.

Trufant could be available because SEA has Kelly Jennings & Josh Wilson unless they feel Wilson needs another year until he's ready or he is better suited as a nickel back.

^ buzzkiller. haha. yea probably, but i think that samuel will be available. The patriots will probably want to tag Samuel, and i think he is sick of that.

They can't tag him. Part of his one-year deal was that if the Pats won 12 or more games, Samuels couldn't be tagged. But I don't think that the Cards are going to offer Nate Clements money, anyway.

If all of these CB's hit the market there could be a bargain somewhere since the FA calss would be deep with starting CB's

Doesn't matter. I don't see Graves having the cajones to go after any of these guys.

But I bet he'd love to have Tavarious Bain back. Oh wait, he already resigned him, didn't he? Well, our free agent shopping is complete. :)

I have been excited over Bain prior to getting him last year. Hopefully we can make something out of him. As far as what you said about going after the FAs, you're probably right.

They are going to be Sooooooo Overpaid.

I would love Namdi or Florence but the money they will get will send shivers through the rest of the NFL. Just like every offseason, the new contracts will cause old contracts to hold out.

A.Samuel - Not a chance $$$
N.Asomugha - Not a chance especially since SD is rumored to be planning on franchising him. $$$
M.Trufant - Pro Bowl Starter this year, not a chacne $$$
D.Florence - Possibility though he will cost more then people probably think.
Domonique Foxworth - He is a RFA so it depends on what the tender him with. If they tender him with a 2nd rounder or lower I would really think about it.
Randall Gay - Probably the closet thing to a possibility out of all of the CB's. Still young and probably the cheapest.

Other then that you have this lsit of characters that dont really do much for me.

Chris Carr RFA Oakland Raiders
Tory James UFA New England Patriots
Karl Paymah RFA Denver Broncos
B.J. Sams UFA Baltimore Ravens
Chad Scott UFA New England Patriots

We will not pay what they will want or get in the open market. 50 Mill.+ type contracts.

Cap wise we can easily offord it.

There is no way I would give up a second rounder for Foxworth, and he will get at least that tender.

Say Joe, do you think any of those top guys will surpass Clements contact?

Keep in mind that Clements deal as laid out is really only a 7 year 64.02 Mill deal. And sure those guys can make that much or more. As for if they will I am not sure. Market demand for CB's may be down this season and I have no clue about the depth of the draft at the CB spot either, which will play a part in market demand in free agency.
