There is an excellent article in the latest Sports Illustrated about the Tampa Two defense and how it is used so successfully by the Chicago Bears. It is also used by several other teams.

There are two ways to beat the Tampa Two. The first is with the running game.

That leaves the Cardinals out.

I saw the article, it cued in on the Bears and specific positions within the system. Good article.

I'll bet it's with special teams which leaves the Cards out, too. Not a serious guess, just a shot in the dark which is true on the Card's part.

Did Denny have this info before the Chicago game?

We actually did as good as anyone has against that defense. In fact, you could say both TDs fit the description of the sort of passing game it takes to beat that D. I really liked the second one where we had forced Urlacher to cover Boldin.

I know, I was at the game, I should have put a sarcasm deal on the end of my post. Not to bring up the past, but, who can you really blame that game on? If that was Denny's plan: it worked. Offensively, we played well enough, the defense played great IMO. Just a few stupid mistakes.:bang:
Nevermind, let's not live in the past, I am straying off topic.

I don't think either of the TDs fit that well with how to beat a correctly performed Cover 2.
