ugh - why don't they just do the most rational thing in the world and HIRE A REAL GM!?
Oh yeah - because they're the Bidwills and they can't even spell the word rational, much less act like it.
Can't spell rational? Heck, I wonder if they can spell GM!
As I recall Bill Jr made his push to assedency in the late 90s. There was some press about him, mostly negative.
I believe his fall from grace came after the 98 season when he pushed the Plummer contract through leaving no room to resign Centers and others.
As I recall in recent years he has refused to travel with the team or even attend many of the home games.
That said lets hope this doesnt turn into a replay of the family squabbles in the 70s when Bill Sr and his brother Stormy feuded over the team after their mothers passing.
Bill Jr. should just ****
Can they just do us and the world a favor and SELL THE FREAKING TEAM!

i got the first three words....is the last one upstairs??? underground???
both would make sense...how about STFA???
What's the history on this Stormy Bidwill character? In true Cardinals fashion, I'm guessing he is very successful at whatever it is he is doing.
The Cards are probably going to outsource the GM to Bangalore to cut costs.
From what I understand the story of brothers Stormy and Bill Sr has all of the drama of a soap opera.
The following is all unsubstanciated and hear say Ive gathered over the years.
When their dad Charles died his wife took over the team. It was she who moved them from Chi to StL
Things got ugly after their moms passing in the 70s and the ownership issue ended up in court. Rumor has it it was during these proceedings when Bill Sr first found out he was adopted.
Stormy ended up with the family race track and Bill Sr. with the Cardinals.
Hopefully history doesnt repeat itself with Jr and Micheal
I've always despised the Bidwills, not the Cardinals. Though I don't like the Bidwills, I don't wish any illwill towards them. That said though, my guess would be that when Bill Sr. passes away some day, that none of his children would be able to afford to pay off the other brothers/sisters share of Bill's estate to buy the team because NFL teams are worth so much more now than they use to be. This hatred between brothers might force the Bidwills to give up the franchise after Bill Sr. passes away, because I wouldn't think any of the children could afford to pay off the others' shares of Bill Sr.'s estate. In the end this brotherly rivalry might finally get the Cardinals out of the Bidwills' hands someday. I could be wrong though because I'm not a legal expert. Just going on my experiences with other family members when they had to buy out someone's share of a house or property if they wanted it when the person who owned it died. If no one could afford it, it seemed like the estate was just sold and split evenly among the surviving family members.
This is probably old news to most- MJ said this morning that Bill Jr. and Michael hate each other and don't speak at all. He also said that during the Holidays, the Bill Sr. gives them each a time to come over to the house because they refuse to be around each other. Pretty healthy relationship, I can just see how these morons act when making personnel decisions. "No, I want Edge. It wasn't your idea, it was mine. I get the credit. Dad likes me more anyways...."
