Zaragoza set to return to Bayern Munich
Bryan Zaragoza joins the list of Roma’s hottest prospects.
The Spanish winger, who arrived during the winter transfer window to improve the Giallorossi’s attack, quickly disappeared from Gasperini’s radar.
The Grugliasco-born coach hoped for a different performance, a more effective player, but his performance at the Maradona was deceptive.
The 2001-born player, after some questionable passes against Cagliari, showed up in Naples with an assist for Malen after just seven minutes of play. His experience in the capital began and ended with this move.
He began to fade as the match progressed, eventually being replaced by Gasperini at halftime.
Zaragoza, who arrived in Rome on a €2 million loan with a €13.5 million option to buy, will leave the capital at the end of the season.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have decided not to activate the option clause for the Spanish winger.
After playing 135 minutes in the league (191 in total), he has remained on the bench in the last seven Serie A matches.
The message is clear: Zaragoza will return to Bayern Munich, who own his contract, at the end of the season.
