By now, everybody knows of the ridiculousness that San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama does on a nightly basis. Standing at 7-foot-4, Wembanyama does nearly everything on the floor as he can shoot it, put the ball on the floor and get to the basket, be dominant in the paint, and is an elite rim protector.
In just his third NBA season, Wembanyama has the Spurs in the finals as they currently trail the New York Knicks 2-1 after earning a Game 3 win on the road on Monday night. He had 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three blocks in the effort as the Knicks had no answer for him.
Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe faced Wembanyama twice in his rookie season and was in awe of what he saw as he told HoopsHype in a Q & A session:
Edgecombe will be looking to help the Sixers get to their first finals since 2001 in his upcoming second season. He had a terrific maiden season in the league and the challenge now is to build off that. Just as Wembanyama has for the Spurs, there will be growing pains, but Edgecombe is up for the challenge.

Yeah, he's insane. Obviously, there's never been anyone around that's obviously as skilled as him at that height, so, yeah. I've seen him in person. I just think when you see somebody like that like in the court, what is this? Yeah, man. He's not real. I don't think he's real. [Laughs]
