Newly promoted York City have signed midfielder Arthur Read and centre-backs Charlie McArthur and Zech Medley on free transfers.
Read, 26, made more than 150 appearances for Colchester United after joining from Stevenage in 2023, scoring 14 goals.
Medley, 25, made 21 appearances in League Two last season for Fleetwood, who finished 15th, before playing nine games on loan at eventual champions Bromley in the second half of the campaign.
McArthur arrives following the expiry of his contract with Newcastle United. The 21-year-old did not make a senior appearance for the Premier League side and spent the second half of last season on loan at Airdrieonians, making 16 appearances.
The Minstermen, promoted back into the Football League as National League champions, have not disclosed the length of contracts for the trio.
