Yankees superstar Aaron Judge will return as the cover athlete for “MLB The Show 26,” marking his second appearance on the popular baseball video game series.
San Diego Studio announced the three-time American League MVP will grace the cover eight years after his first appearance on “MLB The Show 18.”

The game launches March 17, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Judge’s baseball resume has grown considerably since his last cover appearance. The slugger is now a seven-time All-Star and five-time Silver Slugger award winner who holds the American League single-season home run record with 62.
He also serves as captain of the 2026 Team USA World Baseball Classic team.
The cover art showcases Judge in his Team USA uniform. The World Baseball Classic Tournament will return as a feature in the game’s Diamond Dynasty mode.
Pre-orders for the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions begin February 3. Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition receive early access starting March 13, four days before the official launch. A full gameplay trailer is scheduled for release February 3.
San Diego Studio also announced the continuation of an apparel partnership with HOMAGE, which will release a t-shirt featuring the cover athlete.
