Zack Britton pitched a scoreless inning for Double-A Somerset in his first rehab appearance since the left-hander underwent surgery on his elbow during Spring Training. According to Mike Ashmore of PatriotsBaseball.com, Britton threw 10 of his 18 pitches for strikes, allowing an infield single along with three groundouts. "Overall it was pretty good," Britton said of his outing.
