The New York Yankees have acquired 10-time All-Star Ichiro Suzuki from the Seattle Mariners for a pair of minor-league pitchers.

WOW, never thought he would leave.

He's been quietly unhappy in a losing franchise as his playing years run out. Much as I hate the MFNYY, I greatly admire Ichiro and wish him success.

But not a ring.
