xbox gold expiring mid may - see any deals?

Hey if anyone sees some great deals on 12+ months of XBL please post em, the best I have found lately is $5 off. Hoping to find something like $40 for 12 months and buy two so I dont have to worry about this again for a few years.

Keep in eye out with Amazon. Seems like they randomly drop the price from time to time throughout the year.

Saw a rumor that June's Games With Gold are Ryse and Red Dead Redemption -- which is strange because from what I've gathered, RDD is a very HIGH demand backwards compatible title. Seems odd that they would offer it for free.

But hey, it's probably the best incentive you can get for joining Xbox Live Gold.

Just looked online too, thats awesome, I already own red dead but this means it will also be releasing as backwards compatible I believe and that is good news. If you have not played it or tried it, I highly recommend that game. Its like GTA but you arent some thug, you are a bandit in the cowboy days. LOVE that game, might even play it again.

I have put off ryse forever as it looked ok but I felt it was a sure lock to be free some day. Looking forward to trying it. Bioshock was always reviewed VERY highly. Never heard of lichdom

I have played it, I'm just saying that it has been possibly the most requested game for backwards compatibility since they started doing it. Strange that they would offer it for free when they could probably make some good money selling it straight away.

Backward compatibility requests are mostly done by people who already own it and want to play it though. I dont think making it backward compatible really spikes sales of a game in any way, especially a game that is so old.

Maybe this is a prelude to them FINALLY announcing a sequel.

Bioshock Infinite was excellent... best game of the series. Red Dead Redemption was also really good. Ryse got some pretty bad/average reviews so I never bought it, but I'll definitely check it out for free.

FYI, the leaked photo could be a fake... if it isn't then it'll be the 1st time that a free game has been repeated (Bioshock Infinite) & the 1st time Rockstar has allowed 1 of their game to be free (Red Dead). Although Red Dead could be on the list because they're supposed to be showing the sequel RDR2 at E3 in June.

I didnt hear RDR was being announced at E3, if so that is wonderful news.
